Forgot to say congrats. on drawing the Duck. Lucky is WAY better than good.
Not to me. (although if you posted that in the Recreational Forum, I wouldn't comment on it. People are expected to make statements like that there.)

all lucky does is help you win today. Which isn't terrible, but most people who depend on luck end up long term losers.

Learning to play correctly is WAY better. You'll still have some lucky moments on occasion, but over time you'll be a long term winner.
It was a congratulatory joke bd.
Your sense of humor is right up there with your business acumen.
As others have said though i guess just another example of "bob being bob".

It's a break.

I don't know if anyone made that clear in any post in this thread.

Now if the quint paid 80 coins without a multiplier, holding the quint is correct you ignore W2Gs. But since you'd get a $1200 W2G if the quints paid 80 coins without multipliers, I would break it unless you were certain you could write off all the taxes.

This is what it looks like if quints pay 80 coins. It says 81 because you get an extra betting unit from the 2X multiplier for the next hand. The formula for a hand category is payout x current multiplier + next hand multiplier - 1. So a quint with a 5X multiplier on board is worth 16 x 5 + 2 -1 = 81 betting units if the quint normally pays 16 for 1.

I had a dealt 82228 on a crappy nickel DW game the other day while picking off multipliers. The quint paid 50. Had to run the hand on the analyzer as I wasn't sure (not completely familiar with those lousy pay table DW games). It was a 222 hold. Ended up with 2 wild 4oak's and 1 redrawn quint.

Speaking of quint 8's, I caught this nice one earlier.

I hit this hand today. Still on a nickel game. People don't play quarter game very often any more...

Yeah, if 5oK pays 12 instead of 15 and royal pays 20 instead of 25, hold 3 deuces if betting 5 credits.

But I think holding 5 of a kind is still the correct strategy when betting 10 credits. (not your case)

I never seriously study DW games since the best game in my area is the ugly deuces, not quite interesting.

Yeah, the only DW game I played regularly was the NSUD at Greektown. Alas, they took that out along with all of the other high paying games a few years ago.

I need RF on either of my mainstays, JOB or BP, just to have some saving grace from 2020 VP. Moving up denominations has been a needless expense. I feel like the biggest sucker in AC at times. My portfolio is way up this month, so I hope this is a good omen.

Still way better than the beggars at the cross blocking my car all the time.
