I think the evening of March 11/early morning of March 12 run at Coushatta was my highest that I can find photo-wise. All on VP.
Total $5,840

6 Tickets.jpg

Merry Christmas everyone/Happy Holidays
Since so many of the pictures are just above $1,000, it makes one wonder if you inserted $1,000 into the machine, played a few hands, and then cashed out. That would make you a $160 loser, rather than you being an implied $5,840 winner. Cash out tickets in and of themselves mean nothing without the context of how much you started with.

Bob,
I can understand your point-of-view and you certainly don't know me or my personal values. So, after my Eagle Scout values state of mind cooled off, I made these notes:

It would be difficult to have 6 individual tickets if I put in $1,000, played a few hands and cashed it out, then put that ticket back in and played a few more and cashed it out. I'd still have only one (1) ticket.
Counting the tickets from top to bottom #1-#6:
#1 time stamped 3/11/2018 @ 20:41
#2 can't read time stamp
#3 time stamped 3/11/2018 @ 19:56
#4 time stamped 3/11/2018 @ 20:4?
#5 time stamped 3/12/2018 @ 1:36
#6 can't read the time stamp
Earlier that night I had been dealt a $2K hand pay see notes below so I had a decent bankroll. This was one of those night like the old song, "When you're hot, you're hot....!" My timing just happened to be really good that night. Most regular players know the feeling...

My excel notes from that night:
Date: Player: (L); Casino: Total RF#: Year's RF#; RF $/amount: Other $ hand pay or significant hit; State taxes WH: Fed taxes WH; Game played/Denomination: Notes on hit
Saturday, Mar, 10
L Coushatta 2,000.00 2,000.00 5¢ DDB Larry dealt 4's with 2 kicker- 50 hands DDB
L #201 #5 Coushatta 1,000.00 25¢ DW Caught RF holding 4- Ultimate XL
L Coushatta 1,000.00 25¢ Spin DWB Caught 4 deuces (1wAce and 2x4deuces) $1000

Some of the pictures of those hits:

Quick random question. What's the most any of you has won without hitting a taxable hand? Here anything over $1200 in one hand or spin on a slot is a taxable amount and the machine will freeze up until the Attendant comes. But you can win any amount and just print out a paper voucher to either put into one of the machines to cash or take to the tellers cage. So that being said, What's the highest amount you've racked up on a machine without having any of it be taxable? I ask because recently I was at the casino and the machine seemed to just go crazy and in the course of two hours I must have hit 14 four-of-a-kinds and a couple of straight flushes and ended up with $4000 but never won more than $800 in one hand.
My misunderstanding. A quick search of photos led me to this past July 11, 2020 at Golden Nugget. They are all from the same machine (Asset #20384) one evening.
The only notes on my Spreadsheet for that date are:
50¢ Bonus-Dealt 4 Aces /5 hands /cashed 4 @ $1000 tickets / dealt quad 3's DDB 10¢

SaraTG,
Too late to dig up the related pictures from last night's posting of night/morning of July 10-11. I was playing an All Star machine. Typo correction from previous post Quad 3's should have been $1.00 not 10¢. Like you none were hand pays just great hits and constant build ups-just the way I like them after being killed by W2G taxes the past few years. It was just one of those wonderful runs. Here they are:
4 Deuces 50¢.jpg
Dealt 2w3 DDB.jpg
Dealt Aces on Bonus 50¢.jpg
Quad 3's@$1.jpg
RF.jpg
It was not just this machine that night. 100 play hits
Dealt quad 5@10¢.jpg
Dealt Quad J'@10¢.jpg
Scariest hand of the night! I took a break to stretch sat back down an accidentally hit max play. Luckily this hand came up and I didn't lose the bet. Thank you deuces...

$9000, on a Casino Boat off Florida in the mid-90’s. No tax under $15K in those days on the boats.

That’s been the lesson for me. Great hits and constant build ups. If the jackpot is lacking, so be it. I’m only going to lose my shirt chasing it.

I split a $500 Super Bowl Box that took out around 15% for drinks and food. We split the proceeds three ways, hit the half and the final as well as having a couple of touching boxes and after tipping everyone in sight and buying a few rounds after the open bar ended, I walked away with a bit over $12 grand. I think we split it for five years and it was the only time we won anything.

Was this at one of the Super Bowl parties you hosted at the VFW? We are all quite sure you listed this as gambling winnings on your itemized 1040, right?

I walked out of the casino with 1600$ without a W2-g. :)

I got so many 4 of a kinds at a 5$ bet all in the same day and got up to 1150$ and cashed out and was bored waiting for my mom to finish up

I won 1150$ then took 1 100$ and won 600$ after a few spins on a random dollar slot(idk random compulsion, I prefer video poker though) it was SO FUN.

(This was the biggest win, I have won ever)

I was legit scared walking out in a thunder storm after winning thinking I'd get struck by lightning or something.
