My one and only K,10 suited hold turned royal flush happened on NSUD.

Gave my Royal equivalent back as well last night at Mohegan Sun. I was playing quarter DDS Bonus deuces wild. Only had 2 quarters in, but it still paid 400 bucks after doubling for the dealt quad deuces. Happens almost every trip if you hit fairly early and at the beginning of a Clone session. The smart move would have been to pack up and walk. How often do any of us make such smart moves. I know I will get pushback on my hit and run strategy, I hardly ever follow it, but over the years, it would have turned out to be the best strategy of all for me.
I think if I lived ten minutes from the casino, I would have no trouble following it. The problem isn’t greed so much as a love of the game.

Oh, no. What a disaster. I had the same experience in December. Great windfall, but stayed and got drained of every cent. I saw a RF at my carousel and foolishly felt a need to pursue it, so greed was at work for me. Jackpot pursuit will destroy players on every trip. We must be agnostic about them. A windfall is plenty good enough. A gift horse is a gift horse.

Pounded out another royal today No Deuce. Nothing else it was a give it all back day. Left even. Don't think I ever gave one back in one day.

I'm confused. If you left even, exactly what did you give back? I'd say you actually had a damn good day given how much you lost prior to the lucky RF hand pay!

I'm thinking that wildman gave back the $2,000.00 that the casino paid him for the royal. I may be wrong though.

Tell me you didn't just churn $2K back to them, W. We're really losing our marbles this winter! Even is fine. Look at my trip. But $2K!

To my surprise, my gift horse had dentures. When I tried to play amateur dentist to straighten and make them brighter, look what happened to me.
Wildman’s horse probably had a couple of minor cavities, but when he went to fill them, the horse got spooked and shot outta there like a bullet.

Yes Ted I was out of pocket $1255 in the hole when it hit, state tax and tip got hand pay $1900 so $645 up could have walked with a profit. So what I would give it back the next trip, there is no difference poker is one long trip till you stop playing. As the guru in Vegas says your daily score means nothing, I was just stating a fact I left even after a 2k hit.

FAA hope that clears things up for you, if not I can send you a pair of rose colored eye glasses!

I just can't fathom playing that much anymore - six or seven hours would be a really big day for me now. Congratulations on being able to do it, and, more importantly, having the VP gods on your side, and hitting all those premium hands. It's the kind of run we dream of, and rarely see.

OMT I hear you it's not easy I am 59 going on 60 in April. I am trying to play more $10 a hand to cut down my time in the casino. Honestly after 4 or 5 days in a row I don't want to play much any more. What keeps me going is the profit.

Nice run. Would be nice if those NSUD's weren't pulled from down here.
I am worried about this casino taking the games away, so I am playing like a mad man while I still have good games. Nothing last forever.

That’s great Wildman! Love it when the deuces hit after holding one. Nice Royal too by the way. Just curious. Do they have any Double Down Stud machines left down there?
No DDS wish we did looks like a whole lot of fun to play.

You could leave and return next trip with half usual BR. Hang the ADT BS. Four digit loss must cease.
