Re: Heading up tonight
This was a budget buster session. Ten hours. About 7,000 hands. Only 3 job quads. I managed to scrape out my 120 in free play and hit this small quad deuce. That’s all. Funny it was a redraw.

If it makes you feel any better (it probably won't), I was playing 10 line quarter JOB at Harrahs Lake Tahoe two or three years ago, and was dealt the four aces plus kicker. A dealt quad playing 10 line quarters is always nice ($312.50) , but not even close to as nice as $10000!olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 9:08 pmOf course the one quad had to be dealt 4 ACES with a 4. I wouldn’t expect anything different while playing JOB.

Six JOB quads in four hours won’t even cut it. Seven to approach break even. How many of the 10 hours JOB?

One measly JOB quad every two hours would be absolutely criminal. I now remember that unusual Harrah’s December disaster. Look, I lived and learned. Short session, long trip combination is a winning one.

I ran up yesterday because I had to activate entries for recent jackpot winners for a special drawing. Alas, no luck. In the interim, it was Saturday, packed, and impossible to get a 99 percent machine. I never go on Saturday because of this. My fallback game is the rare Double Down Stud machine at only 97 percent. If you can hit and run, you are ok. Long term, it eats up and busts bankroll. I was into it for 300 bucks and nearing my give up abd just go home mode when I hit playing the Clone 5 fours on Bonus Deuces Wild. And as you can see, a nice bailout. I ran for the hills longing to get away from the crowds and what I call Covons, playing games with their masks by holding empty drink cups so they could drop their masks or just leaving their big noses plopped out over the masks. Enforcement due to the massive crowds was non existent as well. I grabbed a bag of chex mix and water and headed for the hills.

That is nice Olds, was that hit after a 5 card redraw? I don't see any held cards.

This is the Double Down Stud nachine. Very few left anywhere. You just get five cards but get a chance to double after you see your first four. The strategy is very easy and I think that may be one reason they pulled them from most casinos even though the return is less than 98% In fact I just made a post about this trip on your post in the strategy session section good luck and I hope you can find a way to play them about even up without getting banned

Congratulations. A +$440 day made the effort worth it, even with the contest bust.

Thanks. It was so hard to walk out up. Still a work in progress even after 30 years. I even left my 100 buck achievement award I earned Saturday night in the system. I will use it sometime tonight. Heading up tonight with the Mrs in a couple of hours. It is her break from cooking which she has been doing non stop since last March. I am not sure what I will play, but they have been nibbling at my jackpot winnings. At least 4 poor trips with discipline failure. Maybe I will just relax with nickels. Of course that is when another big hand will hit for sure and I have learned several times the hard way about short coining.
