That may be an idea for a game: A player gets a bonus for hitting a royal when only holding 1 or 2 cards. IGT, are you listening???
I'll sit that one out. It's hard enough to hit any royal without tightening the restrictions further.

I know you said it would be a "bonus," but that's not exactly how it would be implemented.

Original Jacks or Better EV 99.5%.

Then they had the idea to pay "bonuses" for certain quads. EV of "Bonus" poker? 99.2
I was thinking along the lines of those machines which payout higher for sequential and reverse royals.

By all means please stick with with your JOB if that's what trips your trigger.

Yes, those are the ones I never play. Higher payout at the top, lower payout in the middle (of the pay schedule).

It could be done as a casino-wide promo. Skyline Vegas this month has a bonus for diamond royals. I want to say the odds are similar for drawing a royal holding either 1 or 2 cards.

Congratulations Wildman,

It's been frigid since November 2020 for Royals but, hopefully, Sweet C and my "RF freeze" is thawing. I now have 2 (one each on the last two trips of 25¢ or greater) and Sweet C hit one last trip as well. I'm about 18-19 for the year but the others are all low denomination 2-10¢. We did top 275 RF (25¢ or greater) between us since we began in 2005 this past trip.
