I agree that's a rarity. Dealt quads are 1 in 4165. Quads in general are more like 1 in 400.

If we divide and assume 1 in 10 quads are dealt, then your odds would be 10x10x10x10 = 1 in 10,000*.

*If I had a signature, it would say I'm probably wrong.

Dealt quads are always a thrill when you’re playing multi-line games (which I always play). I remember getting dealt 4 natural 9’s on a $1 5-Play Quick Quad game at Green Valley Ranch in LV or Henderson (whichever town it’s in); no more than 10 minutes later, I get dealt four more natural 9’s. Just wish it had been Aces.
Also, some of you may have played 3-Way Action Video Poker, where you get a huge increase in pay if you are dealt a four-of-a-kind (I only played the 99.3% game). The very first time I ever played the game, I got dealt a 4 of a kind, then about 20 minutes later another dealt 40AK and then 20-30 minutes later a 3rd dealt 40AK. That got me hooked on the game for a long time, although nothing like that ever happened again. I chalk that off to the Gambling Gods trying to hook you into a new game.
Congrats!

Yeah, it's roughly this for a set of 4 quads. For 9/6 JoB it would be closer to 1 in 9375 as the overall quad probability is 1 in 423.27.

When did All American go extinct in AC? Must have been many years ago.

I am usually dealt quads once a session. That makes sense since my sessions are usually between 4,000 and 6,000 hands on single line games. A couple of weeks ago, I was dealt 4 Kings on JOB 4 times in 2 hours. I can’t even imagine what the probability of that is. The prior 6 hours I had no quads.

I got you all beat. I was dealt a RF. Of course, I beat myself by betting three coins! 😩
