Nice one Larry! Would you say you are ahead on royals compared to hands played or normal amount or behind on royals?

To be honest, I have no idea. I don't keep track of the number of hands we play. Our number is probably impacted by multiple factors:
1) lots of multi-hands played;
2) that for years we were able to play high return pay tables before they were lowered;
3) we generally play low volatility games (Bonus, DW, JOB, DWB, and only occasionally DDB);
4) high percentage correct play, timing and luck!!!.
We generally have always played at the casinos that gave us the best pay table until we gave up Coushatta (probably the best tables in La.) for better comps/distance/ etc. at Golden Nugget. We still occasionally drive another 40 minutes and play the 99% return games but the benefits don't outweigh the GN comps.

Don't hold me to the math. :D That why my best friend in school was a math major. ;)
Assuming $1M coin in/year at 25¢ level to maintain our level the last 10 years, that would be around 250K hands/40K royal = 6.25. We also play lots of 5¢ and 10¢ when the bankroll is low but I don't count them in our Royal Flush count unless they are a dealt RF hand-pay. I counted the time I was dealt 50 hand RF on 5¢ for $10K. Dealt Royals are about 1:650K hands.
Here are the numbers for the past 10 years w/at least 250K hands:
Year - # RF - (#RF Dealt)
2011 28 (4)
2012 7 (1)
2013 16 (1)
2014 25 (1)
2015 36 (1)
2016 11 (1)
2017 3 (0)
2018 21 (0)
2019 42 (1)
2020 12 (1)
2021 6 (1)

Great hand. I've never been dealt a royal. Send some of those good vibes my way! Congratulations.

Didn’t work. I set myself up for yet another miserable weekend.
