So on our trip back to Texas we had arranged through our host a night at GN Biloxi. To say VP is an after thought there is an understatement. The same or worse odds than GN LC but with only perhaps 15-20 machines total and only 1 multiple hand machine which I played. Poor odds led to poor results until Sweet C out of $ came to sit by me. Then I hit this little Biloxi golden nugget.
The next night we decided to cut our drive so we stayed at GNLC before hitting the final hours of drive home.
Went through our bankrolls and were about to call it quit when again Sweet C out of bankroll comes to sit by me. Now the fun begins...First this little golden nugget shows up:
Then I start on a roll:
Wanting to take home most of winning and not lose anymore we switch to 5¢ and I catch 2 more royals, DDb 4AWAK, and on a premonition I move to TDB (which I play only 2-3 times a year) and on the first hand of TDB AWAK . By this time Sweet C is beside herself and only say, "It figures..."
Best wishes to everyone, stay safe, vaccinate and wear a mask. My brother, the organ transplant coordinator says he had six patients this week all fully vaccinated come down with COVID. Thoughts and prayers for these patients and everyone else.
Cold Streak ...Part II

Congratulations on all of your super hands but I will tell you Golden Nugget Biloxi is in my opinion one of the worst casinos on the coast. Terrible odds, not many good games, some of the paytables are unreal in they are so low. I will never go back to that place. There are too many decent casinos on the coast to give my business to a place like that. This is my opinion only.

Over the weekend I had the best time at the Wildwood Casino in Cripple Creek, CO. I was playing a Super Triple Play machine and hit a few things to keep me going, then I was dealt four three's and got a kicker on two lines. That $1,000 added to a wonderful time!

I totally concur with your analysis and opinion. Had we not been given a free corner suite room, food comps, and a significant amount of free play, we would have gone to IP or elsewhere to play. But, since we had arranged the rooms between our host and the host at GNB we felt obligated. Additionally, the play at GNB was going to be added to my GN status. Since GN only gives 1 point/$10 VP Coin In I could use the extra points to make my $!M coin-in for the year.Tablet22331 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 5:10 amCongratulations on all of your super hands but I will tell you Golden Nugget Biloxi is in my opinion one of the worst casinos on the coast. PS: I thought I'd check out the high limits VP and about passed out when I saw the $5 VP had 6/5 Bonus. I was playing 7/5 Bonus on 25¢ on the floor.

Oh Double L, I would have tried for that fill in royal when you had the 4 to it plus the deuce. But that's just me and 1,000 credits is better than 10 deuces wild flushes.

LL, I am confused by your two posts. The first said the cold streak seemed to have ended. This one indicates a new one began despite the flurry of royals.

We may get into a local casino this week. Sure would be nice to replicate your results, LL.

Nice hits double L. Glad you folks had a good time. Some similar stories up here with fully vaccinated people coming down with Covid. I am going on seven months now since my first dose of Pfizer. I hope they get their act together and authorize booster shots real soon. Ditto on staying safe and well to everyone

It was a hard choice!!! I know the recommended is to go with the 4RF Deuce but, I waited, took a couple of breaths and hit hold.

Wish you the best. We're both fully vaccinated since February. But, we still take limited chances. Here are some of our preventive steps:onemoretry wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 6:40 pmWe may get into a local casino this week. Sure would be nice to replicate your results, LL.
Non-weekend trip (generally Sunday + Monday) so we can get two week's of comps and $$$. Sunday is last day/Monday first day of new week at GN. Mainly thought the crowds are reduced.
VP has less traffic than the other areas.
We always wear our masks, wipe all machines and/or we both carry small hairspray bottles of 70% alcohol. We wipe or spray all machine keys and the screen.
We avoid smokers and uncovered players.
Each evening in the room we hand our cloth masks and spray them with alcohol to dry overnight. (We place then on the pant clamps of a coat hanger.)
Best wishes to you and your loved ones. Stay safe!
