Forgot to mention something many of us have trouble doing. Long term it may not matter, but it is a bankroll saver. If I am basing my game on hitting a mid level hand like quad deuces at 200 for bet one, and if I am playing and my credit total reaches 240 or more, mandatory cash out is required. Then start over as if you just got to the casino.

Olds, i tried every betting system known to man. every casino game has its breaking point. people think i was a quack claiming the martingale is a winner if you could achieve 1,000 step betting progression.
how many times do you think an honest roulette wheel surpass 50 or 100 or 200? not very often people on other forum were so stuck on the number of cash id have to bet but the point was not the cash but the ending result id chew through that bullcrap 80 or 160 blacks in a row and come clean through the other side. video poker isn't much different the highest bad luck honest machine achieved was 300kh which was a 38k credit loss after that landed a royal, so about 10 bankroll covers id feel safer with 100 but same real life problem no casino would permit such a bet and i dont have that bankroll.

or you could do what that guy on youtube claimed to do, close out 3 royal flushes
.50
2$
and i think 25$ you do that and you beat video poker imo im remembering back i have only gotten 2 royals within 20minutes of each other happened in ac and pa but never 3 although i normally quit after a royal those other 2 times were under special circurmstances.
you can't achieve a big win betting quarters but if you press your winnings you might win big

A 200 hands (coins) system at Bet 1 is interesting. It certainly keeps you engaged from the beginning as you patiently wait to bump. It doesn’t blow out your BR upon arrival, so a happy 20-30 minutes of casino comfort. And I can’t recall last time anything great hit in my first forty minutes anyway. So why enrich casino?

And what happens when you get dealt a royal in those 200 hands with Bet 1? Or hit a royal on the redraw at Bet 1? So much for that 20-30 minutes of happiness.

That’s obviously the down side. We all know the rules. I’ve been very down on my first casino hour. It’s always me who is flushed. Tired of the ambush ambience.

The example I gave would work for me on an 800 for bet 1 machine. I listed it mainly for illustration. If I were playing a traditional machine. I would have to wait for a 1,000 coin loss. Very tough for me with my discipline issues. Really need to just knuckle down and do it though. I don’t want that 4700 buck Royal to vanish in a week. As it is Lamont is doing Hip Hop over the 329 bucks the State stole off the top. That would have bought a lot of Philly steak grinders, Amstel lights, or my favorite Peroni drafts at my local favorite Italian watering hole and restaurant.

Old, your way of playing I like it, using a progression system on high odd pay out vs 1:1 deal is better imo at least short term if you can nail it, if not then the high odd pay out boils down to just getting a regular win assuming you get it, if not going from digging a hole to a ditch and then the grave, and Ted is right I cant accepted a single coin rf just feels wrong on thevbankroll, in all my betting strategies the .5 to 2$ and 25 per turn breaks the barrier if pressing winning however it may be easier if just stick with 25$ per turn and hope to get lucky you do sacrifice time on device. The 1,2,3 meets you in the middle but we all know video poker wouldn't exist if it were that easy. To parlay your winnings I'm a big fan of. I ran so many sums on triple double bonus sims on wolf poker and I saw a 82k+ win streak I thought that was mathematically impossible before that 39k credit was the highest I'm just thinking how many hands/sims prior to that to achieve that hit rate of jackpots with just starting with a 8k roll.

On the plus side my store opened up and able to start buying back my free play I'm so happy I think Caesars has same type of thing but only offer food and I think hotel stay big whoop but wc offers freeplay

Sounds like us brick and mortar Luddites are really missing out, BR! Isn’t it easier to focus on tamping down the losses to begin with?
