I’m sorry, but that’s just sadist city. And they say I’m mean.

Well, trip five to the local casino got us back on the winning track. Again, and is often the case, it didn't start out very well for either of us. After half an hour or so, I wandered over to my wife and asked how she was doing. Her reply: "awful". Since that also described how I was doing, it didn't look good.

In just under an hour, playing my usual 10 line 25c deuces wild bonus, I was down $800. Over the next little while after that I gradually gained a couple of hundred back. Then, I was dealt four to the royal, with a deuce. I know the "right " play is to keep the wild royal, but, I have to admit, I thought a bit about going for the royal. Sanity did, however, prevail, and I kept all five cards for the 1250 credit payout.

Not that much later, I was again dealt four to the royal, without a deuce, and hit a royal on the draw. Up to this point then, my $800 deficit had been turned into about plus $500. Then the deuces, which had been absent so far, started showing up. Over the next half hour or so, I hit them three times while drawing to a pair, and finished off with hitting them twice more on one draw to trips. I finished up at plus $1950 for the day.

My wife did not fully recover from her early deficit, but did, on the strength of three or four sets of aces (playing super aces), and a dealt quad, erase a lot of it to finish at minus $300.

So, the team was up $1650 - a very nice day!

I’ll say. A great day. It started by getting out of the house. The finish was excellent.

That's some impressive reversal of fortune. Most people would never continue.

Some, obviously, yes, but I'm not at all sure that "most people" would quit at that point.

Great to emerge a winner after such a brutal loss to that point. That was a lot of green in the old loo.

I'd be glad to do that, if only I knew what you're talking about.
