the longest you went w/o Royal?

Did you hit any jackpots? Did you get a great comp? We all want to know!

I don't count hands. No need to as I don't need the royal to give me an edge at most games I play.

I don't either but saying you are down royal and a half because you made 119 trips makes no sense. Especially when one trip is four hours and another is just to grab free play.
I have not had a royal in two years, but that is sort of expected as I have not played any VP in that time.
not 119 trips i said 19 trips and only 4 or 8 were hit and runs rest were short hour sessions.
when the losing starts it starts... 100$ an hour on dw .25 machines bang 400 credits per hour.
which meant i didnt get many five of a kinds or wild royals and ate 100 credits every 15minute easy.

5hours out five hundred that trip still stings i played 98.91 DW on dollar 800 and i lasted alot longer before busto and now they pulled those machines out last week not sure where they went =/

If you actually count hands or at least hours, that would give your beef more weight. The guesstimate game is dicey. When the losing starts, change machines. Controversial strategy. But you can’t let yourself be a sitting duck, either.

If I looked at the pay-table correctly, that is an 8/5 DDB game. Not good. Besides writing about by two stretches of 600,000 hand no Royals, I have written many times on what none of us like to hear and that is long term results that match the pay tables can be longer than one’s lifetime. After a banner start this year, I am in a serious dud cycle in not hitting even medium type hands to keep me playing. The Royals are in a dud cycle too. I don’t like to even write about this. Hopefully things have changed, but my vp bud Wildman has written about similar results lately. There is no way to turn these things. You have to either quit or make sure to play within your means assuming which again and I hate to say, that your money is gone before the first hundred gets sucked into the machine. Play the best paytable you can find, play slow enough so you don’t make needless errors, and make sure your strategy is down pat and or you have something with you to look up a questionable hold.

Just because a game has a house edge, doesn't mean these hands don't exist.

The house edge on that Hot Roll game I got the 8x royal flush on is 2.7%

I can pretty much assure you that she's a LIFETIME gambling loser. You seem to put too much emphasis on one hand.

Anything can happen in the short run like back to back Royals on a 6/5 JOB game. While short term results are fun to look at and talk about, they are pretty much meaningless

i did some thinkin, and now i realize all VP players go through a draught, however i dont like the idea of losing a royal and there is no magical being in the sky that says give that guy 2 royals! nope its much like the sims being down is marked for life in my bank account with that said hitting a royal and still being down half doesn't sit well with me

gonna have to play hi-er denom, once i close out my win i will restart a new back to quarters worst case scenario i'll keep losing but chance i could make a 400 creditor last longer than usual and get nicely comped
