Dealt Deuces @ Coushatta 1/28/22

Sweet C and I spent two nights at Golden Nugget Lake Charles this past weekend. Early arrival Thursday and with limited bank roll we decided to not play at GNLC but drive 40 minutes to Coushatta Kinder, La. On our first trip earlier in the month I was dealt a nice 5Aces hand pay. With the limited bankroll for a two day trip, we both grabbed a quick dinner and headed to our prospective play VP areas. My initial offering did nothing so I moved to 3-5 play and still couldn't hit a meaningful hand. Down to the last hundred, I went back to my favorite bank of machines. Doubled the $100 and played up and down for about an hour. Playing these machines is literally a pain in the neck. The reflection from the slots behind is a killer so you have to sit and keep your head at and angle to see the screen. Sweet C showed up - out of her money and about 2 minutes later this jewel popped up. Two hand pays in three trips. Played another couple of hours and then drove back to GNLC for the night. Friday, great steaks at Salt Grass, picked up our free coffee makers and used our concert tickets to enjoy Micheal Bolton. He looked really frail but his voice was still high quality. Later that night Sweet C held 4RF and caught a Royal on 25¢ DWB and i caught 4 deuces on 50¢ but no other hits. Nice enjoyable trip and look forward to our upcoming anniversary trip. Our host, who we've known for over a decade at two different casinos usually gets us a penthouse suite for anniversary. Easier since we go non-weekends when the whales are not there and we have the VP machines to ourselves.

Wow those Deuces look nice. Glad you guys had a nice trip. Happy early Anniversary. Just as an aside, Michael used to frequent a little Bagel shop about 5 miles from my house. He stopped in one time while I was there and I had a brief chat with him about the weather if I remember. I never like to bother celebrities that I run into. Michael’s brother Orrin is a musician as well. Probably the Nicest little chat I ever had with a celebrity was in the food court at Mohegan sun. Jay Siegel and his wife we’re having bagels and coffee and we just happened to be seated right next to them. We had been to the concert the night before which was excellent. Anyway, congratulations to you both not only on the nice hits but having an upcoming Anniversary!
