Re: Practice
Excellent. Had a good run in LV over Christmas then back home. Pretty much no joy for a weekly casino trips for last 3 months. Taking a break

I for some practice in today myself. Stopped at Harrah's Joliet to knock out some free play and left 19 minutes later up $310.00.

Rolling on the DP River. I've quit on less than half of that net. Absolutely no sense going double or nothing. You learn that it's not about the arbitrary factors of time played or coin in. It's about the cash.

Video poker is all about streaks, and you have to slow down or stop at any period of the day when the hands aren't coming or not playing a machine that pays 2-1 for 2 pair , the dry streaks can last a long time. The machine will still be there , but that internal clock that spins 240,000 clock cycles per second is clueless to your streaks. Hope this helps

Hogwash. A "streak" can stop or start at any given moment. Stopping while losing (or winning) and coming back later doesn't change a thing. You may still continue to lose or win at a later time.

From a mathematical perspective, you are right. However, if you are getting frustrated or upset, you may lose concentration and make misstates. It's good to take a break and reset mentally.
