Ladies and gentlemen, your $100,000 VP winner. Here is one of his lesser triumphs.

"John's World of Video Poker" YouTube channel. That's him, isn't it?

Did he win 100k or 50k? Tournaments don't usually pay 67% to first place.

$25,000 here or 16.67% to First. As I said, lesser triumph. He did recently hit a $100,000 RF.

My mistake. I misinterpreted the image as two 25k vouchers, but it was only one. Prize structure seems tolerable. They can promote an attractive first-place award while also paying out lesser prizes to many participants.

Nice. I don't know anything about the YouTube people. I only see three months of videos on his channel, so I assume he's new. Is he a spinoff of Slotmassacre?

Yeah. He talks about stalking a casino until he finally had a chance meeting with SM, who he evidently viewed as VP messiah. They soon became thick as thieves breaking bread at comped steakhouses and will be doing some YT work together.

Where’s Steve? This is a Can’t Lose mentor if there ever was one. They sure love to drown their lobsters in butter. All you have to do is survive high cholesterol.

I still don't know much about them, but I'm all in favor of publicity for video poker from gamblers who aren't obsessed with EV and accuracy.

He goes by the thousand coin rule. Always have 1,000 coins of whatever denomination that you will play. I would watch just to have that instilled in me.

I love it. They're encouraging enthusiasm and confidence, but their students won't necessarily be unprofitable for the casinos.

The house always wins. Haven't you heard? It doesn't consume me. It's okay entertainment when I want a change from traditional film or television.
