Not really. The "streakiness" is not a function of the deals, but, rather, the pay tables. A game like triple double concentrates a large percentage of the game return in a relatively small number of premium hands. If you don't hit one of those premium hands (aces, twos, threes, or fours with a kicker), or a royal, you're pretty much guaranteed to be a loser. Hence, it's extremely "streaky".
