Game Details: Super Times Pay Triple 25 cents
Won/Lost: $3500.00
Notes: Had played for 3 hours and no luck. After eating lunch came back to same bank of machines and down to my last $150 of gambling fund. Put a $100 in and maybe 10 hands later, was dealt 4 to the royal and hit one royal on the draw! Still had money on the machine from the $100 so kept playing. Played down to the $1000.00 royal money and cashed out. Put my last $50 in machine, and on the 1st hand kept 2 to the royal and hit another royal on the draw! . Kept playing and a few hands later hit 4 8s with an 8 times multiplier for $500! I hit a couple of other 4 of a kinds and full houses so kept playing. A little while later kept 3 to the royal and hit ANOTHER royal on the draw!!! I figured it was time to cash out. $3500 from the same machine in less than 2 hours.
1st Royal 12:54 pm
2nd Royal 1:00 PM
4 8s with 8 times multiplier 1:08 PM
3rd Royal 2:11 PM
Ended up a fun day

And THAT my friends is why I increase my denomination when I hit something significant. Of course playing three hands is a little different but still would've increased from 0.25 to 0.50 to $1, Instead of $1 to $2 to $5...

My worry about that approach is the "win small, lose big" result. There is absolutely no assurance that one significant hit will lead to another.TripleTriple wrote: ↑Tue May 03, 2022 2:34 pmAnd THAT my friends is why I increase my denomination when I hit something significant.
Recently, for example, I hit a $2000 royal within a few minutes of sitting down at a 50c machine. Over the next hour and a half, however, I lost half of it back. Had I doubled my denomination, the entire royal would have been gone!

True, but once every 11 years you'll have a really big win.onemoretry wrote: ↑Wed May 04, 2022 6:52 amHad I doubled my denomination, the entire royal would have been gone!

At my age, I'm not sure I'll make it another11 years. In any event, I would have been very happy to have hit another $2000 royal in that hour and a half. For that matter, my wife did hit two $2000 royals in about 10 minutes a little over a month ago. She was more than pleased!

Fantastic hits!!! Ancient history now, but in 2016, two 18,000 buck hits in the same gaming day. Not sure I will make it another 10 years either. Have throttled back my play quite a bit, but those hits are sure fun when they happen.
