$1M Jackpot

Post by TripleTriple »

I was looking through AC Jackpots and saw $1 million was hit on a Game King Multi Poker machine at Harrah's 11Oct2021. How could this occur with the games and denominations offered? Would need 25 Play at $10 credits, which I've never seen. Or some combination of STP or Ultimate X combined with multi play. I checked vpfree2 and there's not enough info to figure which game it might be. Anyone here play a VP game variant with a potential million dollar hit?

Maybe it was a Keno hit?

$2 10-play Double Super Times Pay would pay $1.6 million for a dealt royal flush with any dealt multiplier. 50-cent 100-play Super Times Pay Double Double Bonus would pay exactly $1 million for a dealt four aces with kicker with a 10x multiplier.

Ah, ok. Now I just have to afford the $300 a hand for about 220,000 hands or so and I'm set!

Not all multipliers are available on 100-play for some of the top hands if I recall. It might be a max of 2x for dealt royals and 5x for dealt quad aces with kicker, but you perhaps you could win a million coins for a 10x dealt quad aces without kicker if you would get 17 or more quads with kicker on the draw (You will get fewer than 17 kickers less than 2% of the time when drawing to quad aces). So, you might have to have $1 denomination rather than 50-cent to get to a million-dollar jackpot in that case.

Yep, there are probably easier ways to make $1 million. The most certain way to get a small fortune is to start with a larger one and work your way down.

Wow. How did I miss that? 100-play STP has an extra sentence inserted into the rules: "Some multipliers are not available for each hand."

That's conveniently vague.

You might be able to soon ask Elon Musk since he's trying to match Sir Richard.

And that affects the EV as well. It's BS that they do that because the whole point of that game is to get a MONSTER dealt on a multiplier.
