Carrie GN Billionaire Status

Post by Lucky Larry »

So our daughter Carrie was invited to join the Golden Nugget Billionaire Club. The club is invitation only with significant coin in. I'm guessing around 500K points which would be a minimum of $2M coin in. Averaging over 600K points/year the past years she inquired from her host about the Billionaire Club and was told it was invite only and she couldn't share anything about it. Carrie knew the host had multiple Billionaire members and had talked to B Club players frequently in the high limits area. She knew their play levels. After two years of no invite, I suggested Carrie (who is not pushy or prone to rock the boat) send an inquiry to the Director of Player Development, Tilman Feritta's daughter. In the letter she stated that based on her previous play and no offer she was opting to increase her travels to Vegas where she was getting better treatment from Red Rock and Green Valley (Station Casinos-operated by Tilman's cousins). Both have been going all out to give her great accommodations, huge daily free play (sometimes even combining their offers if she stays a couple nights at each), and awesome comps. Lo and behold, a letter arrives telling Carrie she has qualified for Billionaire Status and and invitation to join.

So last weekend she received her Billionaire comp offers and she gets to choose one.
    $7,500 in free play
$9,000 in Landry's restaurant gift cards
$12,000 stay over a weekend at the 5 Star Post Oak hotel complete with helicopter shuttle to the GN from Houston
1/2 season Rockets Basketball season tickets in the Club Level

I suspect the Free Play will be the offer she takes. In the pre-covid years, the list included a one-year lease of a Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, or other suitable car. Since Covid, and the huge loss in income, we've noticed a drop in prizes. Additionally, this past Saturday's B members had a dinner, social event and drawing for free play. Multiple $5,000 prizes each hour and one grand prize of $100K in free play. She didn't get drawn. Oh, she also gets to designate one person to be her "Co-Billionaire" with all privileges. Looking forward to what else occurs this year for her. So proud of you Carrie. Enjoy life to its fullest.

Nice Larry, one thing I have learned is ask big from the host when your playing a lot. All they can do is say no, it don't happen often, they like to keep players happy.
