Harrahs, Joliet - 3/2/25, Redemption

I decided to head over to Harrah's Joliet this morning to celebrate the end of Meteorological Winter. After all, it isn't many winters that Chicago gets less than 12 inches of snow.
Started out at one machine, promptly lost $500.00. Wasn't feeling the vibes so I pivoted to another machine in the video poker cove. Was losing there too until:
This got me well into the win column and I should have walked out. How many times have we all said that in our heads? Trudging on:
I thought things would keep on the uptick and was I wrong on that. I gave back almost all of the above winnings, gritting my teeth, I was getting ready to leave at the break even point. I had set a time limit for leaving and a couple minutes before hitting the buzzer, at the buzzer came, Barney Fife, single bullet style:
After getting paid off, I was over my time limit, but left happy after getting an old's bailout special. Drove home happy and not grinding my teeth as I was imagining just 20 minute prior.
