just got back from vegas on monday. really, no good luck on video poker. lost my shirt playing 5-play double double bonus and triple double bonus. i didn't hit anything higher than 800 credits. (did one have spin where i was dealt 4 3's and got 2 with kicker 3 without but that didn't last long). thank god the blackjack god's were with me b/c i was able to make all the money i was down back minus about $150. overall though, a very poor showing for video poker this weekend.
will give it another shot when i go back in a few months.

  Vpoker,thats too bad! I hope that won't happen when I go soon. Eduardo, where he played was irrelevant. It was one of those trips that keeps everything in balance so to speak. If you went and won ALL the time(which is a nice thought),you might be tempted to try something else as the challenge of beating the system would no longer be a threat to your bankroll. Ask MikeA about some of his BJ outings. Human nature is going to make you find something challenging,at least for me. I hope Mr. RNG will be polite to this out-of-towner and I'll pick up that RF at will call that Eduardo left for me.

If you went and won ALL the time(which is a nice thought),you might be tempted to try something else as the challenge of beating the system would no longer be a threat to your bankroll. Ask MikeA about some of his BJ outings. Human nature is going to make you find something challenging,at least for me.
 
Ed, you're a better man than I.  If I found a way to win all of the time, I wouldn't care if it was challenging or not, I'd just stick with it.

I'm still looking for ideas about where to play on my next trip. What you're looking for in terms of LV vacation experience is all according to how much you got to spend, how old are you?,and whether or not you got the little ones along. You've got dozens of options but you have to go by those guidelines in laying out your itinerary. Even though I'm married with children, I'm a little kid/ swinging bachelor type when I'm in LV(No! I don't cheat!) I'm up til the dawn hours playing VP and slots,get a red eye breakfast special and crash for a few hours, daytime activities with family and out goes the cat again to prowl on some more VP!  CD, how could you want to win all the time with all the money you find in books and mattresses?

As I've gotten older it's harder and harder to fit into the maid's outfit I use to sneak into hotel rooms.  Lifting those mattresses gets old, too, so I'm looking for easier ways to make money.
 
Maybe I'll just start deleting losing sessions from my records and make more money that way.  Can I tell a casino that I was just playing for fun and that I'd like my money back?  Or use my I-changed-my-mind-and-stayed-home card?
