Hey farmer, We wish you the best! Report back to us. Tournaments are fun and odds are stacked against us! SOMEONE will win! Get there early enough to relax and get comfortable, circle around the tournament machines and see what's happening, what game, how are they doing time wise. Everyone seem to finish early? If so, then you know you can take your time. Last time I had six minutes to play after spending hours to be there and weeks with that date staring at me on my calendar. INSANITY! You are aiming for a royal as those who place will probably hit that elusive royal! There should be info in archives under RESEARCH on this site about tournament strategy but each tournament is a tad different. Dancer has tournament info to offer. I will participate in one with $20,000 total at MGM Detroit again in a couple weeks. They think it's a clever way for the casino to get us captive for the better part of a day! Little do they realize that I plan to run over to Greektown and/or Motor City for awhile that day! I'm invited to a BJ tournament in AC when we will be there this month but alas, that is not my game. Bon voyage!

Farmer: I will be at the same VP tourn. at Flamingo! I played in a slot
tourn. there in the past, and really had fun, but didn't win.
Maybe we can both do well....
