Another Taj Trip

Went down Friday morning arriving around 9AM. Started in the Sultans Palace playing $ VP with $300-lost it. OK another 300 (oh no its so early and we still have tomorrow-yikes) Down to 50 bucks-forget this vp lets play $ Zeus-OK hit for 500!
From then on we could do no wrong. Hubby actually played a little-he was dealt 4 aces on Triple poker (same as WHA but only 250 for a st flush) for 1200. then I hit on the new machines playing wha for 1199-no W2!!
We played a bunch of $ video games-Cleo, Zeus, Pharoahs Fortune, etc. We got lots of 500-900 dollar hits. We took a break for lunch in the chairmans club and then played till 8PM. We went to the room with 2000-up $1400. We now have a good stake for tomorrow with a few dollars more left of our original bankroll. Had a delicious lobster dinner on the taj in the room.
Saturday was HORRIBLE. We got 2 4trees all day! No straight flushes on ACJW and around 8 4 to the royals we missed. That stake was gone lunchtime and we just kept bleeding. We even took a break for lunch and a movie in the room. By 7 we had lost everything we were willing to lose and then some.
OK lets go to the room-at the top of the elevator hubby says-you sure you dont want to play some more (that means lets take out some more money we really shouldnt) -so we get to the top of the elevator and Im about to turn around and go back down and-its a miracle-I say no more lets go to the room! PHEW close call! All in all a really fun trip Saturday and a horror show Saturday-I mean we got bonus rounds on $ machines and won $0!
We recd a digital camcorder as a gift-as usual their give aways were well run-no line and plenty of cameras to go around. we saw 5 movies (thats how you can tell we had a bad day)
Daybreakers- a vampire movie with a very different premise. Ethan Hawke and Sam Neill and William Defoe. Enjoyed it.
The Last Station-one of my favorite actors James Mcavoy is in this so I had to see it. Enjoyed it James and Hellen Mirren and Paul Giametti and Christopher Plummer were all excellent.
Did You Hear About The Morgans-Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant-my husband and I really enjoy him-it had its moments of laughs and was meant to cheer us up before heading back down to the bloodbath.
Stolen-never heard of this before-with Josh Lucas and John Hamm-very good movie about a child murderer/abductor. Really kept us engrossed for the whole movie.
Dr Parnassuses Imaginarium-(spelling?)-Heath Ledger, Christopher Plummer and cameos by Johnny Depp Jude Law and Colin Farrel. WEIRD! But enjoyable. Should have known it would be cause its directed by Terry Gilliam (Monty Pythons Flying Circus)
