Roveer's Vegas Trip

This year's Vegas trip was a huge success!  One of the few trips that I came back a winner and a nice one at that.  The first two days were dismal and I was down 2/3 of my bankroll and then I had one of those wonderful afternoons where everything seemed to fall into place.  I even managed to have a nice run on UX which everyone knows can be very hard to do.  I did most of my play at Caesars so that pushed my players stats up nicely as well.  I will say I saw some really dismal pay tables.  Caesars usually grabs 5 coints (45 to 40) on the FH on DDB but I even saw a lot of 35 coin FH.  How crappy!!!  The entire trip was comp'd including my airfare and hotel stay.  We ate at the Old Homestead and the range over at Harrah's as well as a few of the smaller places  2 Rounds of Golf, one at Rio Secco which was a great round.  No wind last week made canyon and target greens a pleasure.  The second round was very nice as well.  All in all a very enjoyable, profitable trip.  So different than my regular Vegas weeks of past.  This new formulation seems to work on both sides of the country.  I guess I'll keep it up.

Anyway, here's the highlights

OK, the backstory...  Why is Roveer playing TDB???  While playing in the high limit area I saw a guy playing this at the 10 dollare denomination.  In a period of 30 minutes I saw him hit it for 20k and then a short time later he hit it for 40k.  I had to give it a try.  No such luck, but I did manage to take a little away.

Roveer - Great hits.  I've played at Caesars and have done OK but never like you've managed to to.  I noticed that the TDB pays 9/6 which is much better than the DB.  Of course, we all get more 3 of a kind than full houses or flushes.  I might have to practice a little on TDB before I could risk playing it at a casino.I love to see your pictures.  Wonderful!May luck be with you always.

roveer,

Glad to see my head rub paid off!!!

Great hits...you keep me dreaming of playing like that someday. I guess I could unretire to get a bank roll to try it. Nah, then I wouldn't have time to go gambling.

I concur with damule. Try Red Rock or Green Valley and I think you'll never go back to Caeasar's.
