OH NO, Vman, WHAT "about 5 things did not go well" for you at Disneyland? Inquiring minds, you know!No thanks for the memory. I cried my eyes out at Disney World (FL), one day. I had just learned a long time, special friend had died. That would be the friend who had introduced me to my husband. Disneyland (or World) is supposed to be a FUN and HAPPY TIME! Fortunately, it usually is just that!
Sorry to hear about the person that introduced you to your husband passing on a trip. My things weren't that distraughtful but they added up a bit.
Most were ~minor at best, but added up the annoyance:
1. Shuttle driver nearly got us into an accident on the way there. He cut a car off and got a good honking from the car.
2. Shuttle driver took almost 2 hours to get to our hotel because our driver couldn't convince this Australian family that the vacation home they rented, which was dubbed "Mickey's Hollow" by the owners was in a complex that had no clear indications of being there slash the outside of the condos looked a bit run down. According to the video linked below, the place looked nicer on the inside though. After driving around the whole complex once, we all finally convinced them that it was the place, and it was.

3. By the time we got to our hotel at 2pm, room wasn't ready. Minor, but meh.
4. Buy tickets at park and initially were told we couldn't have a "Magic Morning" (one hour earlier entrance) with our 3-day pass. We really wanted one because the parks didn't stay open late slash we planned to leave for Vegas by 4pm on Day 3. At that point, I muttered out a cuss word to myself. Fortunately we talked to a supervisor and were able to get one.
5. High that afternoon was about 95, ten degrees above normal and ten degrees above what was predicted only one week ago. The Vegas leg of our trip was cooler believe it or not!!!
6. Since the magic kingdom closed at 7pm that day, we had tickets for an Angels game. Took a bus to get there, and bus driver said we could use it to get back to Disneyland. He lied, and after almost an hour of waiting for a bus, and we ended up having to cab back to our hotel.
7. A 5' woman would have hit her head on the hotel room showerhead, and I am 6'1"...haha
Overall we had a pretty good time, but we'll be sticking to Disneyworld unless we have another West Coast agenda to justify going back to Anaheim.
Sorry for the hijack, milmont. And the "piece of clothing" in question bringing this luck is boxers with $100 bills on them...
[/QUOTE]It seems to me that Lady Luck is due to visit you soon. She works in cycles. You are overdue for a friendly visit I think !
