When in Vegas I always have Green Valley Ranch Casino on my itinerary. During one of my two trips to Vegas last month I hit my very first Royal Flush on a 9/6 Jacks or Better (up to 99.8% machine)for $1000. I love playing there due to the abundance of 9/6 JoBs, but I feel they're onto me. Every 5 mins I swear there's a guy or gal in uniform surveying the area. As soon as I swipe my Station Casinos Players Card here they come, suits and hostess. Am I being paranoid?

Yea you're paranoid I play there 5 days a week.They dont sweat people. They severely limit your benefits if they think you're an advantage player but that's about it.

Maybe, since you had a fairly large payoff, they were with security, making sure that there were no lurkers around you that may follow you out to releive you of your winnings.

Much more likely to be this, which is a good thing. Employees see royals constantly. Hell I seem to be seeing a royal hit by someone not me a good chunk of the time lately.

I remember getting this feeling once playing at Horseshoe Southern Indiana before. It was clearly because they were overstaffed and/or blowing off other work though.

I think in a busy casino royal flushes must happen every few minutes so I don't think they get paranoid about people hitting them. Maybe they do keep an eye for safety like someone said. That would be nice.

To answer your question I do feel like I am being watched but that is usually when I am trying on clothes in a department store.

I have a w2 stack an inch thick from there and never had security or suits come over. GVR is not really a neighborhood you have to worry about. Ive carried out 20k plus and have seen others walk out with over 50k and nobody worried about a thing.

I have to say where I play in AC even pretty big hits (32k) don't seem to evoke much of a response. I can remember after one of my 20k hits I asked the attendant when they would start making a fuss (checking the machine etc). She said something like 75k or more otherwise it's just business as usual. I do think however that anything north of 10k they make a manager sign off and he usually does it at the machine. No real fan fare but it does happen. The amount of hand pays that happen each day in a casino is so frequent it's nothing special to them, just to us.
