I know its all random but I seem to get more diamond royals than anything....been going to casinos since 2004 and I have 33 royals total...19 diamonds 6 clubs 6 hearts and 2 spades...anyone else have a big "gap" like this or are yours more evenly spread out?

I have had more royals in diamonds also. I've had 245 royal flushes since my first on 9/1/2004.  (Of course it was in diamonds.)  Here is my breakdown by suits:  diamonds-72, clubs-62, hearts-60, spades-51.  I think it is just random and I will definitely take a royal in any suit.

I have had numerous RFs, but since I DO believe it is random, I have no clue what suits they have been in. Let's ask an expert...

VMan - what are your RF stats ?

Clubs for me and by at least 25%. Hearts the lowest. However, my 3 lifetime dealt Royals were all in spades and all on a Double Down Stud machine. Two on the same machine in 2001 at Mohegan Sun and one on a different machine, but also at Mohegan. That last one, unfortunately I had only one coin bet.
Forgot to mention. I also had two lifetime Royas dealt on the second set of cards on draw poker machines. Both of those were in Diamonds.

I don't have a sample worth noting. One of each suit except spades.

Assuming equal probability of suits as it should be...

The odds of 19 or more out of 33 Royals being diamonds is 1 in 14,584.

19 or more of ANY suit is 4 times more likely at 1 in 3646.

I have only had a few royals this year and all were in spades. This is, in my opinion, just a random luck of the draw. My first one this year was while holding a single ace and the other cards on the draw. So many times I have been dealt 4 to a royal and the draw came up lacking. I live in southern Illinois so I am stuck with going to the Lumiere (Tropicana owned) in St. Louis, which has terrible payouts (90.2%).

Clubs have been hitting this year for me. But I would gladly take hearts, spades and diamonds as well.

I kept meaning to respond to this, but I got sidetracked.

Do you play slots at all?

Otherwise, the fact that Lumiere pays back 90.2% means nothing to you. If you only play VP, your results only depend on the paytables of the game you are playing and your skill at playing them.

And Lumiere has some good single line games for St. Louis. 9/6 DDB (98.98%) and 98.91% Deuces Wild for as cheap as nickels!

I hope to get back there early next month!

Same here I have hit close to 200 Royals but have only been keeping good records for the past 7 years:

Diamonds 64
Hearts 33
Clubs 31
Spades 19

I have an issue with the Ace of Diamonds it seems every time I miss AWAK its because of that card.

And does anyone really get 1 royal for every 2/3 times you get AWAK? Not even close on that math.
