Sweet J To The Rescue

Sweet J and I decided to make a quick morning trip to Coushatta just to see what type of mood they were in. With the Golden Nugget opening looming near, I expected to find some very loose video poker machines. However, what I encountered was not a single jackpot this trip.....for me that is! Sweet J spoke the language of love with this Hearts Royal Flush ~

Sweet J saved me from a disappointing trip! And to those elusive jackpot hits..."I'll be back!"

Nice hit! Love to see hand pays.

Congrats Butch (and sweet J)......nice hit.As to wildman's quote, handpays are indeed always welcome, but If I myself had a choice or say in the matter (which of course none of us actually do since we cannot predict the future),  I would personally rather have several smaller hits and give up a couple hundred bucks than have to sit there and wait for the whole hand pay process to unfold and be resolved, not to mention avoiding the W-2 and potentially having a tax issue at the end of the year.   even in the best casinos with the best service and employees, you can end up sitting there for anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour (or longer even) waiting for the hand pay(er) to run back and forth betwixt you and the cage with all your personal info and the actuall money and W-2 to be signed.....and woe if you are in a HUGE casino in an area that is FAR FAR FAR away from the actual cage, and you get a elderly or extremely overweight casino worker who travels at the speed of  smell. That is to say, instead of a $2000 hand pay, I'd certainly be happy with a couple $800 hits and perhaps a $200 hit, in the course of any given session of several hours (or longer.)    I'd willingly sacrifice 100 or 200 bucks in winnings if I could avoid a handpay in exchange for several smaller hits that equate roughly to the amount of a single handpay.....Anyone else feel similar or have similar thoughts?     AGain, I am not saying I do not want HANDPAYS.....of course I do.   but given a choice, I prefer a series of smaller hits rahter than one or two Huge ones.     Just makes for a more fun, balanced session too.....

Hi DaBurglar, I agree to some times not getting hand pays but when I win smaller amounts it seems to go back in awful fast.
