Royals Anniversary

Sweet C and I spent two romantic days at Coushatta our favorite casino to celebrate our anniversary. First, thanks to our two hosts - Debbie and Lea- who are incredible. The suite was wonderful....

Day 1 lots of up and down throughout the session. OK guys get your minds out of the gutter.    Hit good hands but then nothing for multiple hands and would lose it all back. I hate having to work hard for good hits but after about an hour had worked my multi-hand 5¢ up to $1K and cashed out. Sweet C took a small ticket and moved to spin poker from a $20 ticket cashed out $600 before playing some back. Highlight of the night was meeting a delightful couple originally from Maine (Roger and Jeanie) who moved to Texas after he retired from the Marines. We talked a long time about our trip to Maine several years ago.

Day 2 was the same - losing -add bank roll - then a couple of hits. Finally, I caught a couple of good hands a $200 RF and a follow up dealt 3 deuces which led to 2 quad deuces and one Deuces/kicker.

Excited that i had hit a $200 RF I texted Sweet C the following:

Royal holding J10. Next 3-2 for 2x400, 1x800.

She responded: Nice......Oh no a w2g
She had hit this much bigger one at almost the same time.

Ditto. Nothing better. Hope they decorated the bed in the suite for you with rose petals and battery operated candles everywhere like Mohegan did for our 40th. Found out later the gals ( employees ) did that at their own expense. Got back at them later at Christmas time. Nice hits you guys had too. Book a replay out here in Ct. sometime and I'll see that replay gets done for you guys.

Thanks everyone. Every minute with her is a jackpot.

Tedlark -A wise woman once told me, "when momma's happy, everyone's happy".   Glad I listened to that lady.

Olds - someday we hope to get back up to Foxwoods/Mohegan Sun. Would love to meet. Washington DC the next big trip which will complete# 9/10 of our Big 10 retirement trips. Unfortunately, not any casinos close to us except Delaware from what I can tell. We're really concerned about withdrawal symptoms.

I have not been at the casino but Maryland Live is at Arundel Mills less than an hour from DC and close by Baltimore Washington Airport. Likewise, an MGM casino is scheduled to open in 2016 at National Place just outside DC in Maryland. No need to go to Delaware.

There's nothing better than playing video poker with your sweetheart when she gets a nice Royal like that.  On second thought maybe there is something better, but it's right up there!
