Trip to Golden Nugget to play special weekend extra Free Play. Problem is that Free Play at GN can only be played on slots not VP. My play started out strong on a new game Hyper Bonus catching 4 Deuces on a multiplier. Was texting Sweet C a picture when I got this pic back.

My night turned into a nightmare as I couldn't hit anything after the first hit.

After playing the Saturday Free Play we decided to drive over to Coushatta (our favorite) and play before heading home. Sweet C's play continued strong and we decided to stay the night. I enjoyed watching the LL World Series until dinner since my timing was still off. After dinner we both began to hit moderate hits and cashed out nice tickets.

Sunday we debated play or no play and decided we could decide over lunch. Deciding to play a short time to check our timing we began play on multi-hand 5¢. Within the first dozen hands I caught two 4 deuces and a number of moderate hits. Less than 20 minutes later switching Turbo off I enjoyed the first hand deal of

Not to be out done Sweet C caught this nice RF about 30 minutes later.

The drive home while tiring certainly had a much more positive tone.

Sucks that GN doesn't allow freeplay on VP. Which slots do you tend to choose to cycle it through?

I'm open to suggestions! Our strategy has been
1) find a $5 slot in high limits and down load part the free play. Play the 20 hands and take out the ticket with anything that is left to use for VP. Repeat the process until we've played the entire free play.
2) Find a low denomination machines and try to play longer getting into bonus rounds and repeating the process.

The results have been mixed. It really sucks that we can't play it on VP. Heck you can't even be entered on the drawings if you are on a VP machine.   I've talked to both Player Development and Marketing but their Corporate decision doesn't seem to be swayed.

We've adopted the strategy of moving from 5¢ multiple play to equivalent coin in 25¢ multi-hand when our 5¢ timing goes away. So far we been pleased with the exception of the first time Sweet C passed out when she realized her 50 hand 5¢ was the same as her $12.50/hand 25¢.      

The other day she was playing 20-25 hand quarters and I said, "you realize you're playing ...." I couldn't finish the sentence before I was turned to stone from her look.

It's that loving competition where we both cheer for each other but sometimes she lets me think I'm winning.

i've been blessed this year to have been dealt deuces 4 times on multiple hands with the biggest being a few weeks ago on 100 hands. But, since I generally only play DW and DWB and thousands of hands it may not be that unusual. They do seem to come in streaks with 3 in the past 3 months almost a month apart. June 30, July 29, August 23.
Long live the streak. Come on September.
