Another Comeback From the Edge

I have written in the past about incredible comebacks (see "Royal Save"). This time I had an even crazier session. After 6 hours pounding away at my Ultimate X nemesis, I was down to my last $50 from a 10K marker. No premium hands, no bells, no nothing. Then this beauty showed up. Still down, I was too bleary eyed to make any more decisions on cards, so I plopped down at a slot machine I'd never played before called "Stinkin Rich", so I could mindlessly push buttons for a few minutes before calling it a night. Wouldn't you know that within 2 minutes I hit a jackpot for $1480. Amazingly, the machine wasn't done. Just minutes after getting my hand pay, the screen fills with wild symbols and I'm looking at a $5,350 jackpot message. That was enough excitement for me. I paid off the marker and hit the exit wondering how 6 hours could yield absolutely nothing, and then 15 minutes could yield 3 jackpots worth over $14K. This gambling thing is for the birds

Geez mugrat you are truly the king of the comeback and I tip my cap to you. I've seen the "Stinkin Rich" slots before and they're usually low denom .01-.05 and your big hit of $5,350.00 is even more fantastic.
Congrats to you.

Ted - Thanks for the kind words. However, I am growing weary of frequently needing to climb out of a deep hole. Regarding the Stinkin Rich machine, it was a .10 cent denomination ($50/spin). I have no clue what symbols you need to match up on that game, but when most of them are showing "WILD", I figure it is something good. Altogether, I think I spent 10 actual minutes playing that machine and the rest of the time waiting for an attendant. Not much strategy needed for that (LOL)

Indeed. I'd rather see that pic. Nice luck with holding the kicker against mathematics.

I was wondering if holding the kicker was a specific Ultimate X strategy with a high multiplier, but either way one of the two highest multipliers got the last Ace which is even more lucky!
I saw the Stinkin Rich slot machine only in the high limit room for $1 denomination. I believe it had 100 lines and 1x or 2x bet, to earn the bonus spins you have to connect 3 of a kind bonus symbols and it is best if they are exposed to 6 paylines as each line hit is 5 free games. I will double check the high limit room to see if it is still there.

I wondered the same thing when I saw the pic?
At $25 a pull, id want to have that strategy down cold!

The higher the current multipliers are in Ultimate X, the strategy approaches normal video poker because maximizing value the current hand has more importance than earning multipliers for the next hand if the current multiplier is high.
In the "multiplier independent" strategy, one actually holds Aces full in DDB if the full house pays 45 and break it only if a full house pays 40 or 35.

You sure like action. I cannot see myself deviating from the single hand system. What a cluttered screen.

You obviously want clutter on an Ultimate X game though. No clutter and you're losing your shirt!!!
