I was playing Dream Card Deuces Wild and was dealt the following
2D, 2H, JC, 2S, and dream card QC. Screen showed Wild Royal. Changed the dream card to the 2 of clubs for 4 deuces!

Heard of this happening, not everyone knows you can change the Dream Card.

Hell, even I realized that right away and I'm a Dream Card newbie. This site has that tiny icon just southeast of the fifth card. You can manipulate it as you see fit. It's such a kick to fiddle with on the contests. Glad I didn't have to learn this lesson on the fly in a casino. DC variance must be pretty high, so I'd avoid it altogether.

Yep, had this happen to me at Caesars AC back in 2011 when they had those four Five Star machines by the old horsey parlor. The game logic at the time was to always provide the dreamcard that yields the highest RANKED hand, not the highest PAYING! Obviously the flamingo in LV still has an older model machine, because newer updated versions of DreamCard on the servers in AC no longer make this "error"....still you should always watch out for stuff like this on gimmick games. That particular error with the wild Deuce is a killer!!!

Of course, if it happens to you and you miss it but then notice it, stop playing and call casino management over and demand they fix the situation for you....what is the worse they can say, "no"? I'm sure they'd comp you something

DaBurglar is correct. On some versions of DC it goes for rank, not jackpot. Any time you have multiple deuces in DC at an actual casino, stop immediately and make certain the DC is correct before you hold and draw.

Yes, I've heard this is a major gaffe in the dream card software that fell through cracks in testing. Another much more minor gaffe that I have seen is that it will pick an incorrect dream card to pair in bonus poker if you get dealt a 4. For example if you get 9864 they will give you a 9 instead of a 4.

It's unfortunate that IGT hasn't made a bigger effort to fix the software in casinos.

It's unfortunate that IGT hasn't made a bigger effort to fix the software in casinos. I've noticed this many times that it will assign the highest ranked (by number or face) card to hold. It's easily remedied but should have been fixed before they originally released the game.

Now all of you know and understand why I simply refuse to put absolute blind Faith in the unquestionable integrity of every casino, everywhere. Mistakes and gaffes happen, and people are people everywhere, subject to the same stupid impulses and temptation we all are. Stuff can and does happen!!! Now, having said that, it's still highly likely that most casino games are exactly what they should be....but I'm always on the lookout out for the exceptions.

Why do you think Everytime they breakout a new pack of cards the dealers always check them? The production of those cards is as regulated and watched as medical devices and drugs!!!   Nonetheless, mistakes do occur, things do slip thru the cracks....
