The Grand Prize of $1 Million (awarded using periodic payments over 20 years) goes to 1 of 150 players on OCT. 10th, 2018 at the Encore.

To get into the Vegas finals you had to win at one of the local casinos putting this tournament on. Here where I play it went on for 3 months the top 11 players each week (one day event) made to the local finals Aug. 29th.
My buddy and I played a few times, put 600 points on you card and you can play. We did not make the top 11 as its an all day play. But one week in early Aug. my buddy went by himself and made the top 11.

He gets to play in the semi/finals on Aug 29th. A week before the final his mother gets very sick. The night before the slot tourney final his mother passes away.

He did go and play the next night needing to finish in the top 36 to play one final round for all the marbles. He finished 16th. There was two groups of 18 people as there was not enough machines to do everyone at one time. Whoever has the top score wins air fare, 3 nights at Encore, $500 in Food card (value $3,000) and $5,000 cash.

Twenty four hours after his mom passes away he wins!!!

I think he had an Angel with him that night!

He is guaranteed $500 cash for playing in Vegas.

I will update this next month as how he finishes.

Hope your friend does well also just as an aside I was playing very late at night at Mohegan Sun a couple of years ago and hit a royal on the deuces wild quarter machine two hours later my mom passed away unexpectedly maybe it was an angel also

Well he did very well made it to the final round of 13 and a 1 in 13 shot at the million. He finished 9th for a $6000 pay day!

He will be back tomorrow with a big smile on his face no doubt.

Pretty good result, finishing ninth out of the 150 who were in it. He sure should be happy.

Great news for your friend wildman, I too would be very happy with that payout. It sure beats the $1,000.00 minimum award to players on Wheel of Fortune.....television show, not slot.
