September 2018: Alpha & Omega

Hello Everyone...we're back! We have been on hiatus from posting but certainly not winning! I have many summer photos but I would like to start with sharing my September accomplishments! Sweet J and I took a chartered flight to Beau Rivage in Biloxi, MS to stay from September 2nd until September 5th. Our bookkeeper gave us marching orders and instructed us to have a jackpot photo in her phone within 15 minutes of arriving! Tall orders coupled with a makeover of the casino and I was pressed to fill her demands. But, Sweet J rose to the challenge with these Aces within 15 minutes of arrival
Followed by these deuces 20 minutes later:
I began feeling a little left out and my determination was re-awakened when she re-upped on her Aces:
I refused to be outdone! I was coming in with a coup de grace...this beautiful Progressive Royal Flush!!
Stopping play for the evening immediately after my PRF was brilliant because it left me in the lead of my & Sweet J's personal competition; however, she awoke with a bit of determination herself and began the morning with 3s and a kicker to boot!
I was in hot pursuit of catching up but Hurricane Gordon was threatening. So much so that the Mississippi Gaming Commission decided to force close the casinos at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gordon decided to lean toward Alabama but alas, our trip was ending. We left Wednesday morning with winnings in pocket! Gordon missed them but Hurricanes Butch & Sweet J got them!!
What better way to end the month and in the amazing way it began! Sweet J and I decided to spend the night at the Coushatta in Kinder, LA. Our bossy little bookkeeper was generous enough to give us 30 minutes for a photo this time and I was up for the challenge! Another Progressive Royal Flush!!
A great September and now onto October!!
