You'd have to remove the card and wait a few minutes for a total reset. I don't really believe in this. I'd rather just switch machines. The cardinal rule is not to insert a hundred. I'd rather just lose forty than have the whole damn thing vaporize.

This may be YOUR cardinal rule and if you'd rather lose just forty then just cash out at sixty. That way you get the "feel goods" by pulling a ticket out of the machine.

I am not into the ticket pulling routine. When I am done with a session, I cash out the single ticket and the money goes into my pocket in my vintage pin up 1940s money clip. I also carry a spare thicker money clip also vintage. I think I will send photos. They are cool. The thicker one is for those rare times for 5k or more hand pays. At the end of a session I always break. Dinner, long walk, catch up on the news in the room. HBO movie, Lounge, and pre Covid the sports bar. Those are the super spreaders with the screamers as well as the blackjack and roulette tables. A crowd that is just undefinable frequents those. Photo coming of clips.

5k or more I use vintage rubber bands. And remember: beaners on the outside, a wiseguy always carries a roll with the beaners on the outside...

Speaking of discipline, I ran up there last night after a day of yard work. Followed same rules. This was session 8. Technically, it worked as ( pic shows ) I was ahead about 20 bucks. Then the failure kicked in. I played a single line quarter game and promptly lost 200 bucks. Speeding up fate, I switched to dollars and promptly dropped 200 more on Joker Kings that has a higher variance than deuces. Net session - 380.

Sorry to hear. The impulse to bet big has burned me countless times.

I went up to Bizarro late last night and stayed over. The Deuces game was cold and I switched to Joker Kings, but leaving the same betting progression in place. Just a couple of deals and I hit this nice hand. That left me up 72 bucks including the hundred I lost last night.
