Want to hear about winning - not losers

I want to hear about winning stories. I want to hear about great trips. I want to hear about fantastic hands. I want to hear about new casinos and old ones that look even better after their remodels.

I know you can have a bad day at the casino. Let's leave it at the casino. Don't take it out on people up here. If you disagree, politely say you disagree, give your side politely and move on.

I love this forum. I can live through other people's wins. Hope I can see it on my own screen someday soon. Hear about new places and great deals. Deals meaning either hands dealt or getting a great freebie.

Everyone's got their opinions. Sometimes it's backed up by documentation. Sometimes that documentation is interpreted differently. Sometimes it's just a gut feeling. Sometimes is just that lovely word - luck.

Share your great times, and share your lousy times. But don't make it the fault of other people. We can get along - if we leave the trash talk out of this forum.

I enjoy reading people's stories. I enjoy sharing my experiences. I've had a three year dry spell on winning anything. I look up here to confirm it's just my luck and not everyone's. Picked the wrong machine at the wrong time.

Thank you.

Here's wishing everyone a royal flush.

Not talking about the bad times gives others a false sense of hope.

I've never understood the interest in people's individual sessions. It's not like we are playing poker where our skills can help us bluff at the right time. VP is a game of attrition and I'd much rather read about people's tactics and strategies than their session results. Others disagree.
There is much more to the game then sitting around waiting for a Royal.

This can't be stressed enough.

AP VP, or any other AP isn't about hitting royals or jackpots.

Of course, this is the Recreational forum which is specifically not dedicated to Advantage Play.

I went to Red Rock. Played quarter VP for about a half hour. Twice I had three to a Royal, and didn't fill in the missing ones.
The end.

Very interesting, Bill. If this were the strategy forum, I might suggest that missing royals on two 3-Royal draws only happens about 99.815% of the time. But since it isn't, I will simply heap praise on your creativity. Well done, Bill!

Half hour session. Now, this is how one emerges from these cesspools a winner.

This post is unintelligible.
I personally have had two Royals within a half hour.
Quick hits happen. Maybe with as much experience as BR has you may regret that post.
BTW back to the thread. VP players lose,on average, two out of three sessions.
Whats reality? Posting only about wins?

I’m guessing that BR broke even or so, given the short duration, which is not a bad thing. It would knock down comps, but whatever. I do agree with your point. OP is just being disingenuous with this Pollyannish naive thread. The struggle is real, as you well illustrated!
