It’s Just My Imagination?

Post by olds442jetaway »

I split my playing time about evenly between smoking and non smoking sections mainly because many of the better paytable games are located in smoking areas. Yet, 90 percent of my W-2 Gs ome from machines in smoking areas. This is over many millions of hands. Has anyone else noticed that in general, vp machines in non smoking areas tend to run much colder than those in smoking areas. Also, in general the poorer paytables seem to be located in no smoking areas.

Agree on the poorer pay-tables in NS. I believe the only bank in ours has been down-graded because they are not as busy as they used to be.

Don't get me started on that subject. IOlds, I know you understand why. I'll just leave it that I agree regarding paytables.

I definitely should be sticking to playing in the non smoking areas for obvious reasons. I only play in the other areas in the middle of the night or very early morning. If it gets bad, I leave. Actually, most all of my play is overnight. Even though my dad is in assisted living, I visit him every day and even though the facility has the best of everything, making sure the aides are caring for him properly is a full time job. So lucky to have him. Both of my parents were smokers and thank goodness quit in the 1960s. It still took its toll. I wonder if there were many as young adults during WW2 that didn’t smoke. Very few I’m sure.

i been thinking about different machines and in different area's selective memory is telling me i have had more success in smoking section of the casino, The RNG ENGINE just behaves so much more different more random (if you can call it that) and what that translates to my bankroll has a much longer life span,
for example: i played 100$ into smoking section lost 50$ it did take a decent amount of time but i did lose 50$ i went over to the non smoking section and lost 25$ in under 5minutes or so i went right back to smoking section and that remainder of that 25$ was putting up a good fight.

the point is i been reading other forums and some say they can beat other games of chance in the casino just because the government says you can't , some mathboyz or a book claims you can't doesn't make it true. you have to go out and see what works for you, on a side note caesars 9/6 jacks destroyed my 200$ or 150$ bankroll everytime but whenever i got free play from tropicana for like 10$ i was able to double it or cash out right away playing on their old 9/5 jacks again im sure the mathboyz would chalk it up to variance, bad luck and so forth but i know what i know

i guess what im saying don't listen to the mathboyz or pixels on the screen thats communication through the gateway known as the internet but follow your nose like Stephen Hawking once said.

if it works keep going with it

One other side note. Whenever the casino offers double or tripple points or tier points, I lose more and lose it faster. I have never been issued a W-2G on those types of sessions I average from 20 to 40 W-2Gs a year so that is a pretty good sample I have probably played on double or tripple days about 20 times a year.
