1. You don't have to decide at the outset what level you're going for. You can change your mind along the way.

2. There will be numerous promotions during the year. Do your play then. That won't affect the number of base tier credits you earn, but it will affect how much other stuff (RCs, TVs, whatever) you get along the way.

3. On a $5 single line machine, you figure to get two royals and eight straight flushes, for $60K in W2Gs. On a $10 single line machine, you get the same amount in W2Gs (half as many of each, but for twice as much), but you'll also get about 100 quads for $125,000 additional in W2Gs. Are you ready for that?

4. Can you play that much 9/6 JoB accurately and not get bored?

5. Whether you play this or not, there will be others who do. Are there enough 9/6 JoB machines at the properties so that you're likely to get one when you want?

6. There is no guarantee that halfway through the year they won't make this game $25 or $50 per RC rather than $20.

7. You do have an advantage, but it's a thin one. How serious will it be if you lose $30K trying? Is that a nuisance or a disaster?

Thank you Bob.

But if royal flush doesn’t happen, the only hope of the next good offer like this may come in next year or never...
recognized by caesars himself! double entendre intended!

As this thread is in the Recreational Forum, I feel it's acceptable to add a few related comments. As stated by the previous poster, an investment of this magnitude is not something that should taken lightly. Let's say you feel the potential return is worth the risk, you are confident in your skills and you can accept the consequences. Is that all there is to consider?

There are stocks I won't invest in because I don't like the company, their products or their morals. A good example of this is Altria Group. With 25 Billion dollars in sales, a 6% dividend yield and a current stock price of about half of it's 2017 value, one could conclude there is an opportunity to profit long term. Altria owns Juul. Juul is a manufacturer of E-cigarettes. Candy flavored E-cigarettes are designed to hook kids, not 40 year old marines. I watched my mother carried out by EMTs as she gasped for air because her lungs were destroyed by tobacco. I had to tell her she was going to die. That was hard.

Decisions are not always made by the numbers alone.

Picking a single company is a “heaven or hell” game.

If you stick to sp500 index fund like SPY, IVV etc, which are the average of largest 500 companies or more, as long as American business is doing good, your investment will be. The performance of top 500 companies can nearly represent how American business is doing.

Gambling at the level described in this thread is a serious investment with massive risks. The previous poster was right to say you may have the bankroll to play big games, but you may not be comfortable with the psychological results. I can not think of anything more "hellish" than losing $30,000 a day in a casino waiting for a hand that may not come in a year.

I'm relatively sure that she knew this without you telling her. What is more difficult is having to tell a 10 year old nephew that life support is being terminated on his mother, like I had to.

I'm sure she knew. The doctors told her if she didn't stop smoking it would kill her ten years before she died. She loved smoking. She smoked 3-4 packs of Newports a day. For most people, smoking doesn't kill them outright. It shortens their life. My mother died at 71. Her heart and everything else was strong. Smoking cost her 15-20 years of life.

My wife and I are deacons at the local Presbyterian Church. Our calling is to help people when they need it. We work with old people and young. Currently we are working with a combat wounded veteran with serious mental problems and no family. It's tough, but we do what we can. Most folks live in their own world and don't see tragedy until it touches them. When it does, it changes many of your opinions.

I'm sorry to take this thread in such a dark direction. For me, playing video poker is a happy time. It's an escape from CNN, Fox News and the last POTUS Tweet.
