Post dud streak pot shots come through
After I got my dad safely tucked away for the evening at his assisted living facility, I took a pretty late overnight run up to Mohegan Sun. The room was comped and I had a light late night dinner in the lounge. I started playing quarters on job and the machine was very cold. No quads in 2 hours or about 1200 hands. I tried Deuces Wild for another hour and it was cold too, but not as bad as job was. My final switch was to Joker Kings playing halves. By this time, I had switched machines as well and was out between 300 and 400 bucks. This machine was the coldest I have seen in years. It actually dealt 42 consecutive dud hands and there were only a few pushes in there before it produced a small winning straight. In the past, and I know this means nothing, but any streaks nearly as bad as this have produced a really good hand in just a couple of minutes. I decided to play 11 halves for 10 deals. The first few were back and forth, but on the 8th hand, I was dealt a pair of 8s and the joker. The draw gave me the other 2 eights and an 1100 buck payout for 5 of a kind at 200 for 1. I was also able to keep my 2020 record going of no W-2Gs if at all possible. It was now 5 AM and the birds were already chirping. I hit the hay for a few hours and the best news is it all went home with me.

Sorry no pic this time. It just slipped my mind to take it. Probably because I didn’t have to wait for a hand pay

Congratulations. No tax and relax. I don't know if I could tolerate 42 straight duds/pushes.

Have done one a few times but never two. Some kind of skill involved or just luck?
