This is fun and pretty cheap to play

The lighter side... playing for entertainment, less concerned about "the math."

Working on some fun, cheap, and somewhat successful ways to play for 2020 and also to avoid those dreaded W-2Gs especially for states that tax you on gross wins with no writeoff ability. This one is for Joker Kings 940/17/7 available in many casinos at the quarter level. I think it is about a 98.6 or so return but a bit less with short coining. Anyway, here it is..... I have 4 positive sessions so far and have only played with a single 100 bill.......

Bet one when credit balance is 380-400
2. 340-380
3. 280-340
5. 0-280
It is just another Martingale clone variation, but won’t break the bank and should keep you going for awhile without busting. Remember anytime credit balance is over 400, cash out or just bet one. This is not a get rich quick method, but joker kings gives you lots of quads compared to job. One can check the Wizard of Odds site and paytable for specifics It is also nice when something higher hits too. I have no idea how this will pan out long term, but so far the Mrs. are I are having fun with it and not going broke.

Very smart indeed. Lose the first $5 at a snail’s pace. Then lose the next $10 at a turtle’s. Still no real financial damage. Now you’re ready to recoup!

I get this. At my casino, anything that reduces my coin in is worthwhile. Playing single coin nickels yields the greatest cost savings, but that game is so boring no one wants to play it. What you have done is add variance which keeps the game entertaining. It's the same idea behind CS.

People who don't understand this don't value video poker as entertainment. If you are serious about making a profit, being entertained is far down on your list of must haves. If there is no cost, like there is when you play free on this website, entertainment is everything. Unfortunately, you can't play for free in a casino.

I think I will start off with an hour of nickel play from now on. I lost at a $100/hour rate today and am in a stupor. Full houses only slowed the bleeding. A solid hour of nickel play will acclimate me to the losing at a nominal cost. Minimizing damage is a must from now on. Another awful trip.
