Coronavirus and Casinos

Anyone else thinking about curtailing their casino visits due to the Coronavirus? Florida gets visitors from all over the world. You never know where the person sitting next to you has been.

Yes, family wants me to stop going now actually. Ct has a huge amount of Chinese patrons at casinos. I don’t want to snere any culture, but I have witnessed their hygiene habits and I won’t even discuss it here. Casinos have patrons from all over the world coming and going all of the time especially in venues like we have here in Ct. i am a news junkie and the virus news I will admit has me spooked.

Yes. We are scheduled to go on a Caesars-sponsered junket trip to Atlantic City in a couple of weeks. I think they will charge me $400 if we cancel, but we will if it seems like the smart thing to do. Definitely in wait-and-see mode at the moment.

Caesars AC?! You’ll surely lose twice your cancellation fee without a RF. Avoid at all costs!

We are on our annual winter journey across the country. Have been on casinos for 17 straight days. Right now we are wintered in Laughlin Nv. So we have not changed our schedule. I will make the most of life while I can. The odd thing we have noticed is not many people in casinos wearing masks. We thought most people would cover up but not so.
Will not get home until the end of April so lots of casinos ahead for us.

Enjoy while you can. I have Mark Twain’s book Library of Humor. First Edition and great pen and ink illustrations.
