Say your local has two good games - 8/5 BP and 9/7 TDB and your objective is to go home a big winner (today). Besides a higher payback %, the TDB has multiple ways for 800, 2000, and 4000 credit wins. All it takes is one good hit. Of course, usually you will leave busted. The 8/5 BP will keep you in the game much longer, but eventually it will grind you down to busted.

Now, if there was a good reason to play all day and rack up points - maybe it is 12X points day, there is a good raffle and you want/need a lot of tickets, a juicy progressive and you want as many tries as possible to hit it, ect; then BP might be the better option.
