Are some in casino management finally doing the math?

The lighter side... playing for entertainment, less concerned about "the math."

Maybe! Or maybe they are just desparate for any action even video poker. I was just upgraded to Soar status at Mohegan Sun. I was 70 percent low on status points needed this cycle due to my reduced play and the virus. The Soar status gives you some great benefits like unlimited lounge access and unlimited golf at their country club. Rooms are still based on play. Lots of other benefits too. I have been a regular again since they opened, but only because for now it is no smoking and they have done a great job with protocols. With the virus exploding again, that may change. The virus latest news is not good at all. At least they have 99 percent plus quarter and up machines still.

Just a a quick additional note. I just learned today that for the current cycle at Mohegan Sun that ends on 9/30/2020, one will only have to earn half of the normal status points for any given tier status.

olds, does their tier status expire every 6 months or is it good for an entire year?

6 months. That part is a bummer. Foxwoods has extended theirs, but my benefits are better by far at Mohegan Sun.
