Extremely lucky on a machine i never play

The lighter side... playing for entertainment, less concerned about "the math."

Looks like the title actually should have been "hardly ever", or "never played before", rather than never.

In any case, great results, and an example, once again, that good results can, and do, occur. It's so much nicer to hear that tune rather than the "the casino is screwing with us " one.

I was extremely lucky last night. Went back up to Mohegan Sun for an overnight with the Mrs. It was very difficult to get on a 99% machine because most are shut off or have been removed for spacing. This machine here that

gave me the jackpot is a bankroll buster long-term the straight flush only pays 10 instead of 13. Long-term the house gets to keep three or 4% on this machine even with perfect play.

Congratulations. If you haven't played that machine before and don't play it again, you are a long term winner on it regardless of the pay table.

Thanks. This may be my first one card draw. I have had a few dealt Royals in the millions of hands played, a couple of redraw Royals, but can’t ever remember a one card hold Royal. I have often thought about dumping an off suited Ace in 2 cards off suited to the Royal and just holding the JQor K, but haven’t done it in 9/6 JOB due to the long term math penalty. I’m going to check again and see how much it costs per hand.

Olds, I have had the same experience. Have had several dealt royals, one after dumping 5 cards, but only one royal from a one card hold in the 27 years I have been playing.

I have never had a dealt, redraw, or a 3 card draw in a casino but have had 4, 4 card draws. Three were holding an ace and one holding the queen of spades.

On single line, I've hit a royal every possible way (dealt, holding 4, 3, 2 and 1) except one. That being on a complete redraw.

I have done it twice, but on multi-line games. 10 play STP and the other on spin poker.
