playing a weaker game for comps?

The lighter side... playing for entertainment, less concerned about "the math."

Yep, I agree that they might make the accommodation for a give away but not for free play.

To paraphrase some former casino owner " What the hell does he have to lose?"

its great they are giving me nearly 700$ free play in a span of a month problem is its chopped into 30 days
i dont see myself paying the fuel and food to get there for such a low amount per day, now maybe if all 8 or 12 casinos in ac gave me and my wife that amount maybe i consider

i did e mail them and waiting for a response looks doubtful tho, i was watching this 1 guy named slotmasasacre channel on youtube he trades 10k$ cash for 1k$ free play imo thats a bad deal when i know theres better out there and yes he has a host
$700 is nothing for a month.

All AC Caesars properties give me $7000 in total in this month. But how much can I convert it to $$? Tbh, not too much.

sorry to burst your bubble but 700$ is alot of money and far from nothing why dont you ask for a 700$ donation from Magnus Carlsen i heard he won 100k$ last tournament or Bob Dancer i hear he makes 25k$ a trip to the casino, to me 700$ is alot and far from nothing,

are you getting 7k$ to free play? or even 2500$ free play in caesars? i never got anything from them and my wife donated 1600$ to their property and got back a lousy 5$ free play what a joke

..Bob Dancer i hear he makes 25k$ a trip to the casino...
He plays games with only a quarter percent edge at the moment. To make $50K a year, he needs to coin in $20M or 160K hands of 9/6 Jacks on $25 denomination ($125 per bet). Maybe he can win $25K on some trips. But no one seems to care when he loses $25K on many trips.

$700 is nothing in term of teasing you back to the casino, you get $50 free play at the cost of driving 2 hours per trip and spend another 2 hours or more in the casino, you think that's a good deal?

Think about the opportunity cost, assuming you spend 5 hours on a casino trip, if you could make $15 per hour somewhere else, why bother to go back to the casino? But I won't argue if you play VP for entertainment.

Yes, all my comps are either gift cards or free play. I take good gift cards like Amazon, Best Buy or Home Depot, and coin in the free play $ to convert it to cash.

Btw, the fundamental difference between me and Pro VP player is I play it for fun. Pro VP players play VP as their daily jobs, that's how they live life. VP cost is just a very small portion of my income. I have a full-time job paying a decent salary for me and I also have part-time business income. And I invest most of my money to the stock market and earn 15%-20% yearly on average. That's my edge.

If those Pro VP players can only live life by playing video poker, that's a lame skill coz casino can kill the opportunity if they want. Once the casino kills it, they won't be able to do anything else. Coz wasting their golden time playing games instead of learning some good skills that can give them more opportunity to living a much better life in the future.

At a relatively young age, developing good skills like learning writing software/studying mathematics/studying accounting, etc. is far more important than playing a game. Coz VP skills won't be a sustainable skill for the future. For example, I didn't have any VP skills, but it only took me a couple of months to figure out the VP algorithm, since I have skills in math/computer science, VP is just baby **** for me. And my skills are sustainable and can be applied to many industries. Just my 2c, not a biggie.

I get 15 bucks 3 or 4 times a week and give them 2,000,000 coin in a year. My only consolation is they still have 99.54 quarter machines.

What a bonanza. Way to milk the system, Olds! 99.54 quarter is a great deal nowadays, though. I regret not doing more coin in yesterday. Machines were spitting out nice hits for almost two hours.

I know BD stands by it is end of the year results that matter and I am not arguing the point. However, just for the heck of it, keep track of your high point for a session, vs. your results as you walk out of the casino. For that matter 80 percent of your high point. I think you will be amazed. I was. I am still a work in process on the so called flawed thinking on knowing when to quit. All I know is, if I had walked when I should have over the years, those two Mercedes Benz cars would be in my garage. Maybe it is more like how we play when ahead a good number. i’m not sure, but I know what my notebook shows

It must be easier for you to discern the high point if you dump your entire BR into a machine. I find it tedious to add the amount on the screen to the remaining BR in my pocket. It's just another headache to a series of casino calculations.
