The Path - to Harrahs Joliet 10/10/20

Post by Tedlark »

After watching the Notre Dame game I got the itch to head over to Harrahs Joliet and play a bit. I had some freeplay and couldn't go Sunday morning as usual because I had other things to do first thing.

I got there and sat down, playing some ACJP. After dropping $200.00 plus my $100.00 freeplay I decided to go back into the video poker cove and hunker down at another machine. Within 10 minutes I hit 5OAK playing ACJP and that put me in a good mood. I didn't take a picture though.

I was playing for a while and was hitting enough straight flushes and dealt hands to keep me interested when, playing TDB, I was dealt trip aces. Holding them I connected on 2 of them, one with a kicker. I was switching back and forth between ACJP and TDB for another hour when, after holding a pair of aces playing TDB, I connected with the other 2 and a kicker for another nice hit. I walked out a little while later but not before dropping $200.00 in a goofy penny slot machine.

Thanks all, I almost went to Hollywood Casino in Aurora, IL to play some Quick Quads and I'm glad I stuck with my first instinct.

Best of luck to everyone.

Feeling better, I decided to head over to Hollywood Casino in Aurora, IL to play some Quick Quads tonight. I got there and the lobe Quick Quads machine was vacant so I sat down. After getting a small quick quads on my very first hand I was thinking that the session could be promising but I was wrong. I was quickly down $500.00 so I jumped to a vacant 3/5/10 play machine and opened with 10 play .25 denom TDB. Within a few minutes I caught 4 4's with a kicker and that put me almost even. I decided to up the denom to .50 and a little while later I caught AWAK after holding a single ace. I remained at .50 denom and I was up, down, up, down. I hit deal and was dealt quad 5's for another small hand pay. It was 10:00 pm by now and they announced that the casino would be closing at 11:00 pm. This was part of the increased Covid-19 protocols put in place by our governor. At 10:30 I caught the quad 4's with a kicker for 1k. Another announcement that they were shutting the machines down at 10:35 pm, which happened. I cashed out and went home.

It's gotta be the VP.com facemask.....
