. Would probably not have hit in quarters or dollars.
You definitely will not hit a quarter or dollar royal when you're playing nickels.

$386 RF. That’s the result of constant losing, frustration and desperation. See you in 40,000 hands!

This is the problem when switching denominations.

Playing games without an edge will lower your confidence once you are down and make bad decision like this.

OLDS very true but you need to look at it this way. You play all over the board from nickles to dollars so each denomination you have to play 40k in hands for the royal not your total from all denominations. I find myself in the same boat, I play .25, .50 and $1 denom all most every trip. Therefore the royal hit has to come at any amount bet is hard to understand the true value of the royal.

I have played off free play at nickles and on that free play hit many royals for $200. I play the free play at that value since I am trying to get all or most the free play out the door. It is very rare for me to play on free play that day since we have what is called extra pay day. You get an extra weekly free play for only a few hours that day and if you did not play your weekly free play its like double but only that day of the promo. Next month I will have $300 at one casino and $200 at the other. Also they will run that promo at both casinos on the same day. (piss me off) I play it to the amount and out the door I go. It gets very busy that day and I hate busy. Play on that money another time on a lees busy day.

But back to the royals, a royal is a royal ant any denom, nice hit.

It would feel so much better to get a premium hand out the door.

Back in my partying days I got many a premium hand out the door. Usually the premium hand was attached to the premium arm of the manager or bouncer.....
