Found some cheap 9/6 JoB in Detroit.

Greektown used to have 9/6 JoB, NSUD, and a couple other near 100% games. All were downgraded a few years ago. Motorcity downgraded all theirs around 2013. Nothing decent in Detroit any longer.

I don't understand their reasoning. Are they trying to bully us onto slots or other games? Because that ain't happening with me. I can empathize why they'd slap 8/5 and other crap paytables on nickel and dime denoms from a business standpoint, but expecting us to play that at quarters and especially up into dollars and high limit is disrespectful to our game genre in my opinion, like how 6:5 blackjack is insulting for blackjack players, especially at upper limits. Basically, video poker is like a table game, and we don't require a living breathing dealer who costs the casino 10 bucks an hour. There's no need for them to squeeze paytables like they are! Just pure greed and underappreciative to VP players!

Motorcity is a dump lol, but I admit I do love it's retro feel. Reminds me of a seedy old Vegas casino. Even though I never really touch slots anymore, I will go on their ancient cheap penny machines with 20 or 30 bucks for the novelty of it. It's cleanliness and the people inside are appalling though. The bathrooms make you gag. Anytime day or night the elevators reek of weed. When they allowed smoking you couldn't breathe. What I especially hated is how HOT it is inside, like a sauna! I last went in October, and I brought shorts and flip flops and left them in the backseat in anticipation for how hot it was going to be inside from when I went the year before. And I was right, I had to go all the way back in the garage and change into shorts and flip flops even though it was chilly out lol. Idk how those people dressed up in warm clothes could sit there comfortably for hours in that heat! My god it must be 78 degrees in there!

All true. I've stopped patronizing the lower pay table casinos. No excuse to be caught dead there in a city with excellent tables. I usually bust there anyway. If stuck in a crap pay table casino, play craps! It's more fun and pass or don't pass house edge is similar to 8/5 JOB.

If you want good full paytables in Michigan, Soaring Eagle has 9/6 JOB on all denoms, and they also have 9/6 DDB and 8/5 bonus poker across the street in slot palace on the $1, $2, $5 machine in the back. I also think Deuces wild and stuff on those few machines are also full pay but I might be wrong, i never looked. The bars have many great vegas quality paytables, you have to look on vpfree2. They have the 99.7% deuces and 9/7 double bonus at some of the bars. They also are very decent with the player's club since covid began for VP play in my experience. They have 0.2% comp dollars on the points as well as 0.1% cashback freeplay. They send you decent freeplay for coin-in on the bounceback mail, but sometimes it's weird and people don't get what they deserve. I got $30 per week freeplay from a night of $5,000 JOB coin-in before, but other times I've gotten $10 or nothing from similar. I think they partially base it on your age and if you have bad luck, my dad of course is much older than me 56 years old, and he gets great offers for free rooms and stuff as well as generous freeplay, and he's not dropping alot there. I also notice when my luck is very bad below what you'd normally expect, they kick up the freeplay to more than usual. It also depends how far you want to travel, if you're more than 2 hours away from there of course you would want to spend the night, and the money you'd drop on the room you might just find it cheaper to play the "crap" poker in Detroit lol.

I want to add though, that they do have a lot of crappy VP, like Detroit's. You have to go on the good games they have and avoid the 8/5 ddb and such. Their multihand and carnival pokers are largely crap too. Also, if your spouse or friends play slots, they are some of the worst in the state and probably the region. Never touch a slot machine in that place! Also, if you like craps, they usually have a 5 dollar table that's kind of crowded, and a 10 dollar one that's usually empty or with 1 or 2 people. It can be alot easier going than playing with all the rowdy drug dealers on Detroit's 15 or 25 dollar crowded craps tables lol.

I did discover one 5 play 9/6/5 DB UX game (98.93%) on a 1 cent denomination here the other day.
