Why is it that when we hit a wild royal flush on deuces wild Paying the same as any old quad on jacks or better, we think of it as a better hit when moneywise it is exactly the same. Somehow I get the same feeling when I hit a straight flush on deuces wild which pays the same as a full house on 96 jacks or better. It’s all psychological I know but there is something seeing Two or three deuces being dealt that is much more exciting than seeing a pair of fives or three eights on Jack’s or better or better

Forget the exotic nature of the hit. It’s all about the bottom line.

Maybe it's a reaction to the difficulty. Deuces SF (203 cycle) is much more difficult than a JOB FH (87).

Wild royal is 524 cycle vs JOB quad 423.

It's funny that in both games, the straight flush is poorly compensated relative to its difficulty.

FAA.....I have been trying to remember to just concentrate on the bottom line for 30 years. When I don’t hit any quads on jacks or better, I feel like I belong in and maybe I do in One Flew Over the cuckoo’s Nest.

If I’m on quarter all day, the quads still won’t cover my losses. I must Carpe Diem when that dollar BP itch rolls around, as is the case nowadays.

I’m on quarters, nickels, and dimes for 2021. With Covid in the mix, my Marathons wil be shorter and more restrictive as to time of play. It looks like I will be getting to the machines between 1 and 7 AM for the most part. One other bit of hopefully good luck today. I stopped at my dads assisted living facilitd facility to drop off needed personal items. Today was when the residents and employees were getting their first vaccine shot. Someone evidently declined last minute and I was able to get the last remaining dose or it would have gone bad. Once thawed the vaccine is good for up to 5 days. However, each vial which contains 5 doses is only good for 2 hours once the vial has been opened. To me, this was more important than my last hand pay. Really, at 72, I shouldn’t even be going near a casino no matter how good the protocol. On the other hand, the grocery store may be more dangerous. Even our Governor allows people with covid to go to the store to shop. Many people who are totally alone have no choice. I’m a littlebOD’d on caffine at the moment due to a bit too much coffee today Including a large Starbucks one mid afternoon. I think I will practice the Clone a bit on my phone now till my eyes get a bit heavy.
