Bankroll Bust Insult

This is the kind of stuff VP does all the time. Last week since my quarter play on JOB and Deuces Wild busted my bankroll, I decided to just play nickels with a ten dollar bill slowly because the wife was still playing her Ultimate X DDB game on nickels and doing pretty well. This was either my second or third hand and this showed up. I even forget what game I was playing. It was probably Double Bonus Poker based on the payout I received. I also think it was a bad 9/5 paytable. Usually is bad on the nickel games.

Don't spend it all in one place! I couldn't resist. With back to back trip quad Aces hits, you must take a lesson from yours truly!($640, $400)

With that kind of confidence, why not try 20 percent of winnings on Double bonus or double double bonus next trip. Assuming of course you can find a good pay table 99% or better

Up there now. Still playing nickels on a terrible 7/5 Bonus Poker Deluxe game. Very lucky. Martingale Clone Bailout. This is also an 800 for bet 1 Royal game. Anyway, every ten hands without a winning hand, up the bet a nickel and never back down unless I get to starting bankroll or better. Never expected a Royal. Was hust hoping for a quad at 80 for one. I was dealt four to the Royal as you can see. I would have been sick if it had come in on the bottom line. Fir some reason, the pic didn’t show the ending credits. They are 7577

Following same rules, still heading up a bit. My new starting number is now 7700 nickels. If I get to 8,000 nickels, I’m outta here and heading home. Nice and quiet. Almost have the place to myself.

Alls well and ended well. Made it to 8,000 nickels with small stuff and headed home.

Congratulations. RF and out with $400. Any game with Double in the title is double trouble more often than not. Who needs more trouble? I never bothered to learn them.

Congrats. This may have been discussed, but you've commented that your cash back (+ comps) gives you a big edge when playing 9/6 JOB. However your actual game selection includes some garbage*. If you only played good games, possibly your benefits would go down.

*"Garbage" from the casino's perspective. The casino thinks you're playing a 96% game, unaware that you have your Martingale technique working for you.

I think you've commented that 8/5 Bonus is superior to 9/6 Jacks, so it seems logically inevitable that you would eventually mix in some 4-coin 9/6 TDB. No need to rush it though.

An utter conflation of my view. 8/5 BP is merely more fun than 9/6 JOB, not superior. It’s been more rewarding lately, but that’s short term.

My mistake. I get mixed up sometimes interpreting people's motivations for playing.

A question occurs to me. Assume a machine offers a choice of 9/6 JOB, 8/5 BP or 9/6 DDB. I think typical gamblers would choose the DDB. But if so, why? Is it because DDB is more fun, or because they think DDB gives them a better probability of winning?
