Extremely Lucky. I should quit for the year now!

Whenever I get a handpay, there is usually never a slot attendant around. Especially in the middle of the night. I just call vip services, give them my machine number, and they dispatch one. I never had to wait more than ten minutes doing this. If I don’t even though the machine is supposed to call one, it either doesn’t happen or it can take up to an hour for one to come. Many years ago, I hit a dealt Royal for 5k. It was 4:30 AM. It was a 1.25 bet on a DDS machine. I made the mistake of asking for a check. It took them 3 hours before they could find someone to sign it. I have never asked for a check since.

They're rarely around when you need them but are always around when you don't.

Okay. Middle of the night anything is a general service desert! Weekend days are buzzing with activity. Easy check service, too. Of course, my direct experience has been years. I love how you call VIP Services. Perks of losing tens of thousands a year!

Anybody can call them. They don’t ask your name or anything when you need a slot attendent. Just the machine number. Mohegan Sun is very good that way. They try and be patron friendly. That is one thing I can say about them. The hosts and servers are really nice. I don’t even have an assigned host anymore. Haven’t in several years. You can call whoever is on duty and ask for something. It is a pretty tight ship now. I think the computer governs the perks.
Even if you are a new player and are staying over for a special occasion like birthday or anniversary, you can request a delicious cake made at their bakery every day be sent to your room. It comes on a cart with linen tablecloth, real silverware, and linen napkins. I’m not sure if with Covid they are still doing it. They just converted one of their garages to a covid test center partnered with Yale I think for employees. Good idea I think as we are still in a huge Covid mess.

Interesting. Of course you would have to be familiar with VIP Services in the first place and have their number. Knowledge is power. That birthday cake sounds swell. I planned to hit Hooters AC for a birthday offer, but the blizzard was forming. I must arrive by Saturday. So, fingers crossed!

Happy Birthday! For the last 20 years of playing vp, I have had a hand pay either on my birthday, or on the day before or after. How does one explain that when playing about the same way? Maybe the hand pay attendants will be paying you a visit. We are buried with snow close to 18 inches and still snowing. I cancelled everything for the next several days.

When was the last time anyone ever called an attendant anyway? They’re always en route!
We had to wait 8 1/2 hours once on a cruise ship. Nobody there after midnight!

In the film Uncut Gems, a character lands and departs on an AC casino roof. Olds would go mad with envy!

Around here the attendants have a cell phone looking dealie strapped to their wrist. It must buzz when someone hits a signer and directs them to the machine. I hit one yesterday and caught a glimpse of the screen. It showed my name, the $ amount and my players card info.

Since they went to this method I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes before they arrived.
